Isn’t winner of Clemson/South Carolina winner in the playoff as 11 seed as of now?

As things stand, if Miami wins ACC and even if no other upsets happen the winner of this game would be in the playoff. Gotta figure SMU drops out of playoff picture with loss, no? Not sure why this game isn’t being seen as essentially a playoff play-in game.
The question might be better phrased as what happens to Miami if/when SMU wins?

What would the student section turnout be for a home playoff game?

When I was at PSU (long time ago admittedly), the Student Section was General Admission but sectioned by your tenure at PSU (I think it was Freshman and Sophomore in one Section - Juniors and Seniors had their own Sections if I remember correctly.
Yeah that is how they used to do it but as noted above its wristbands now - my daughter is a freshman and has been through it.

Huh? Clemson is currently #12 in CFP Rankings but would not make Playoffs as the 12th spot goes to the 5th highest ranked Conference Champion (probably the B12 Champion). USCe is even further back at #15. Given that SMU is currently #9 and the CFP Ranking Committee has already said that they don't want to punish teams for playing in a CCG (i.e., being in before playing CCG and dropping them out because they qualified for, and lost, their Conference's CG), I would imagine SMU stays in top 11 if their 2nd loss comes in the ACC CCG.

What’s to stop Larry Ellison from giving Michigan $1 Billion+ in Nil and ruining College Football?

How is it irrelevant? Donors now need to decide whether they donate to NIL or the program. Program funds will diminish. We always just about break even, hence why we will start having to cut PSU programs unless donors step up, or there’s a collective bargaining agreement.
You realize they're being paid by the schools moving forward as part of the lawsuit settlement...yes? People are also mad about that.

People should donate to what they prefer. If smaller sports die that's part of what happens in the world. They need to be self sustaining. Things like the WNBA shouldn't exist if they're reliant on others for survival

A Rutgers fan can dream

Over on Rutgers board, RUcrackers claiming he predicted Suriano, Campallatano and others.

Apparently he is an ex AA for RU and has an insider. He’s claiming PSU and Iowa both have “Suriano level” talents leaving both programs. Hints that the PSU wrestler has a redshirt available and Iowa wrestler does not.

Many of the RU faithful jumping on his jock thanking him for the info and taking guesses. They thinking Levi or Kasak coming after year! LOL

Best quote by the OP over there
“Yes, sir. You're gonna shit a pound of pickles when you see who they are. Both Suriano level.”

Iowa doesn't have any Suriano level talent.

It's 100% wide open for them to sit wherever they choose after passing through the gate.

Nobody. That post was in 2020, and no wrestler above 174 (maybe above 157) transferred to Rutgers until 2023 when Slavikouski arrived as a grad transfer from Harvard.

But that link was worth reading, if for no other reason to see Pat Mineo swatting away Creedo with stubborn facts such as: some Brooks-level guy is transferring to Rutgers without Goodale's knowledge, yeah right.
O
Who knew that Rutgers is a wrestling destination?
Perennial Top 10 program ! C’mon man

Wish your sPitter friends a happy 48-14 Day

Maybe my best day/weekend ever.
I married into a family of Pitt fans. Great people who unfortunately had this undying devotion to "their university".
Wednesday before Thanksgiving, my wife and I go to visit her aunt and uncle. Their youngest son was a student at Pitt and good friends with a number of football players. Longest evening ever putting up with the scata that he was hurling my way.
Went to game that Saturday, sitting in PSU fan section. Started poorly but how glorious was the end.
Got home that night and never received unUnfa congratulatory phone call.
Didn't matter because the next day I was going to the Steelers game with my father-in-law, one brother-in-law and the young cousin who provided Wednesday's entertainment.
Shortly before I left to pickup the cohort (I was driving), my mother-in-law call and warns my wife that it could get ugly as they all were quite chafed from Saturday's event. Being the kind wife, she relayed the warning to old Dibbs.
I simply told her that I would say nothing, but the ear-to-ear grin would send the message.
Unfortunately I lived the opposite experience with my college gf whose dad went and played at Pitt when Kizner threw the late pick 6 at the old stadium to lose...

In the Big we get back our "rivalries" w RU and the Terps- but those games didn't hold a candle to the Panthers, Orange and 'Eers.

ACC runner up should be the 2nd ACC team. SMU should get in if they play Miami in they ACC CC.
Yeah, I think the ACC Championship loser (assuming they are 11-2) would be more likely to get in than the Clemson/USCe winner. In fact, Clemson’s ranking arguably seems set up to give SMU or Miami-FL a spot as the CCG loser.

FB Recruiting TBT: Penn State and Maryland projected starters as recruits

A couple of observations.
1. Clearly the terps get the vast majority of their talent from their back yard ( MD and VA) with very little national presence. I’m not sure if this is a function of resources, commitment, or inability to compete nationally.
2. Four of our 22 starters are from their back yard. They have one from Pittsburgh and I’m not sure we would even pursue him.

You should have got an email overnight if you’ve been a subscriber in the past too. I just saw mine, along with 100 other BF emails.

Should be the screen right after you select the monthly or annual passes. It’ll give you the new option once you enter the code.
Yeah, I've tried, no Bueno on the 2nd screen. I got an email about volleyball, but that’s it.
