Bo Bassett thread

I don’t see him leaving PA. He seems to want to be a world & Olympic champion. PSU/NLWC is where that’s at. Plus Cael and the boys will ramp up the recruiting. They let Spencer leave and won’t let Bo.
However I see DT going all in to get him with a big pay day. Taylor knows this could help him land future recruits and really make some noise. Not sure anyone would want to move to Oklahoma.

Tan Tom already lost Blaze to the good guys, I see him rallying the Donors in Columbus, including Rudis. Heck PA Power loves this kid, then Flo wrestling uses his name, image and likeness, and now Rudis is all over him. I couldn’t imagine a junior in HS being on Rudis commercials.

Then heard from someone who knows his cousins, Iowa is going all in with a life changing offer. Brands contact is up in 2028. He knows he needs to make a splash or could be gone.

I don’t think we need Bo, but could you imagine Luke, Blaze, Bo and Duke. Ok state has no chance

No, Massey cannot be debated in the same way as the committee approach. One is set in stone before the competition begins. The rules don't change during the game. The other presents not only inherent human biases (favoritism), but also blatant corruption DURING THE COMPETITION (season). Why can't you understand this? What is it with you?

We would all like your solution. That is NFL-like. But this is college -- limited complex, disparate data that, due to the inability to form a true league, some sort of systemic approach to identifying a champion must be in place. (Or we can agree that there can be no "champion.")

Consider the World Golf Rankings -- a system that blends disparate tours and leagues from all over the world. A committee might have made up the rules to rank the players, but it doesn't sit down each year and by discussion decide who is #1, #2, #3, and so on. It decides the system and then lets the system take its course. The World Golf Rankings then play a role in some tournaments. Same with Fed Ex Cup points. A committee doesn't decide who gets into the golf post season. A committee decided beforehand what the system would be. They don't decide who deserves a playoff spot each year. The system decides it.

So it must be for a problem like College Football, if we truly want to be fair and honest about it.

OK: Our family Thanksgiving get-togethers are usually pretty strange......not in a good way. This year was different and amazing. My sister-in-laws' daughter ask my nephew if he would be her babies' sperm donor. Awwww. He replied that that was a huge decision......and ask "How old is your baby?" Never made it to dessert

Why Do Lurkers Not Post?

I always notice on different posts it will get like 5-10 replies. But then you look at The Views and you see hundreds of people viewing it?? Some threads have 500-600 views yet only about 10 replies? WHY?

I encourage more lurkers to join in the discussion. More opinions and discussion are what makes these message boards fun.

I joined Rivals about 10 years ago. I've met some of my closest friends on this board. The Connections w/people are great.

Also Richie, Dylan and Marty give great content and more importantly give it to you straight with NO agenda. I've been on every message board at one point or another and this current staff are the best. They give up to date info as quick as any of them and have great sources. They don't spin BS.

So I encourage more people that just want to "view" to join in the discussion.

There are no assigned seats. Yes, you are correct that you can't walk up to the front row and kick someone out of their seat, but otherwise you can pick the section and grab a seat. There are not specific sections for specific class levels.

DT’s long path at Penn State seems to have worked out. He is likely the highest paid NCAA wrestling coach.
