OSU isn't going to be a doormat program. In any given year, I'll relish them losing games to teams not named PSU and I'll root for it every year. The B2G is a tough conference. Any year it's a bit less difficult is a good thing.
Agreed--they're never going to be a doormat as much as Pitch wants them to go 0-12
That's fine--it also means you don't want what is best for Penn State--them losing today in no way is good for us.

That's my point--you're not a Big Ten fan--being a Penn State fan is tied with being a Big Ten fan but you can't accept that because even though you allegedly hated being an Independent you still have that mindset.
A bad Ohio State is awful for Penn State. Pretending otherwise is absurd. It lowers the prestige and value of the league which is vital.
Being a fan "in" the Big Ten is the problem and why you're wrong here.
You attitude is that of an Independent--it is.

Vandy is a sort of Triple Option team. Option can be tough to defend. Vandy has better athletes than the service academy's THIS year. Probably have the most difficult to defend QB in Vandy history as well. That's huge by itself.

Texas could have gotten exposed by UGA. At least how to cause havoc for that offense. Vandy got multiple sacks today from listening to the radio broadcast.
I think that's the real concern--Ewers threw 3 TD but was sacked 4 times and threw 2 picks--they have to clean a lot up

Thank you ... this is the point where you just childishly regurgitate your incorrect extremism. And you'll do it ad infinitum, no matter how much it is logically explained to you why and how you're wrong. You can't help yourself. It's that neurodivergence raising its head ... yet again. Like in every other thread in which you're involved.

So, you keep on claiming that, despite the fact that I hated being an Independent, and would never want to go back to that, that I'm a fan of being an Independent ... because you're you. You create 2 extremist views ... both equally wrong ... then pick one, and repeat it and repeat it, thinking you're proving something. But you're not. Meanwhile, the correct answer lies in the logical middle somewhere. And no matter how often or well it's spelled out for you, you'll never reconsider. Because you're cognitively not capable of handling it.
You hated being an Independent
You don't like the Big Ten
You dislike everything other than Penn State apparently

Texas didn't look good against Vandy!

48 Team Super League Concept

I don’t know why you’re so sure they go to 14 teams. How would that even work? 12 to me is perfect. Four playoff games hosted by the higher seed, second round at NY6 bowls, with semifinals at the remaining two NY6 bowls, and the NC game. They finally got it right.

The proposal is:
SEC and Big Ten: 4 teams
ACC and Big XII: 2 teams
Group 5: 1 team
Plus 1 at large
The SECCG and Big Ten CCG winners get first round byes.
Set up is

1 Bye
8 vs 9

4 vs 13
5 vs 12

3 vs 14
6 vs 11

2 Bye
7 vs 10

Just adding 2 teams

The Big Ten and SEC want full control and they're slowing taking that over so people aren't as angry

48 Team Super League Concept

We're already going to at least 14 teams in 2 years but the issue is...the Big Ten and SEC are never going to allow this type of format to continue forever--it's not a charity and they're not going to keep allowing smaller programs to make money off of them
I'm not necessarily in favor of pods but we're going to end up with a super league and I'm not sure what that looks like other than this type of set up. 4 divisions of ???? 10-13 teams?

Wonder if Martin being out is intentional with the travel roster size and RS rules. Basically, this is a Smith game and if you aren't playing Martin, they didn't bring him.

Ok. Maybe I'm over thinking this. Lol just got home and have watched very little fb today!

Lions by 20!
I mean, it's actually reasonable.
And you've missed nothing today other than Nebraska putting a small scare into Ohio State
Hopefully our game is drama free like the others today

Corey Smith, if he's still healthy, can get some snaps in his home state

LOL. You're so desperate and confused. No, there's absolutely no tie-in between being a team fan and a conference fan. That's an emotional thing that YOU have, but then you pretend it's logical. Independent status sucked ... as I've said numerous times. I have no desire to ever see PSU as an independent again. I have no affinity for the history of it, either.

You can lie, and claim that I do, but that's a you problem, not a me problem. It's a fault in your argument, which is why you can't let go of it ... because you NEED it for what you're saying to make sense to you.

There are plenty of other programs in the Big Ten who could step up and be great, and I wouldn't despise them (at least until they gave me a reason to). No prestige and value of the conference would be lost.

Again, you're stuck in your illogical, emotional extremist mind ... you either root for the entirety of the Big Ten, and are a "fan" of it, or you root for independence.

That's so childish and immature. And not based in reality. But that's what you've built up in your noggin, and you can't let go.
100%--what do SEC fans chant?
Your mindset is that of an Independent--that only our success matters--not the conference. If you're not a fan of OUR conference how are you a fan of us?
Ideally every program in the Big Ten would be great but none of the current great ones becoming worse is even remotely good. We need USC to get back to being USC for example
Correct--you either root for the Big Ten or you're not really a fan of the Penn State who is in the Big Ten. Common sense. Also, reality. Or do you think we aren't in the Big Ten?
