Don't get me wrong; I am happy when I am sincerely thanked for my service. I am not pleased at all by those that thank me insincerely, as a matter of business marketing and above all by customer service people from other countries from a memorized script given to them by corporations that are trying to placate me. I am not a dog and if I were one, that would not rub my belly.

There are good nurses, good teachers, good police men and women, firefighters, EMS responders and the list goes on that are not veterans that deserve thanks for their service not just us military vets. I was an adult when I made the decision to join the Navy. I did it of my own free will. To those that thank me for my service that are genuinely sincere in their gratitude, I am ok with that but I don't need the attention. My thanks is my life and where I live and how I live. So far, I have lived like I wanted to live not serving Oligarchs, kings, or other nonsensical forms of elitists. That is really all the Thanks I need.

Thank You for listening to my pet peve on Veterans Day. To all you out there that are genuine in your gratitude, God Bless You and may you have a Cold Rolling Rock to salute everyone that sacrifices for others all around you.

Coming out of a huge recruiting weekend in Happy Valley I have followed @Dylan Callaghan-Croley and logged a few new Future Casts in favor of Penn State. Some of these recruitments may take some time, some could end sooner rather than later. Regardless, the Nittany Lions have positioned themselves as the team to beat for each of these prospects. As is usually the case for the White Out weekend, this weekend should prove to be a super successful one for the Nittany Lions.

Did anyone notice that after MI scored a TD to pull within 2, the player that scored the TD got in the face of an IU defender in the endzone and began screaming at him.

The announcer made no comment but the flag indicator showed up for infraction in the endzone, apparently after the play.

An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at that juncture of the game would have prevented UM from having a realistic chance at a 2 point conversion to tie score.

The Ref announced that there was no flag on the play and provided no further explanation. The unsportsmanlike conduct penalty is conjecture on my part based on what I observed.

Anyone else remember this play? I'd be interested in your opinions if you did.

If Penn State goes 11-1, would that make it Franklin's best PSU team? This team doesn't have the WRs the '16 and '17 teams did, but the OL is better. Both the '16 and '17 teams had two regular season losses. Four points was the margin of defeat for the '17 team to two ranked teams. Just six yards was all Penn State needed against Ohio State for 14 points. This year's team has been ranked high all year. The '16 team lost in the Rose Bowl and the '17 team won the Fiesta Bowl. Would a playoff win make it Franklin's best team?

Where do you rank Drew Allar's place in PSU QB history? He has not had the wide receiving corps the equal of many past Penn State QBs and his ball security touchdown-to-interception ratio is very good. Would you suggest he return for his senior season? Do you think he will?

Tickets are dirt cheap so debating driving down to West Lafayette from Chicago with my toddler. Anyone else attending?

I honestly think NJ. He would say some really whacky crap like "capitalists are destroying capitalism" (because, like, it is their best interest to do so.) Laffy never really got past Trump to think of anything else.

First, they put PSU/OSU at noon and now we have to subscribe to an unpopular streaming service for the white out? I’m not doing that…not giving them the satisfaction of making me pay more for a game that could easily be on cable.
