For those of you not familiar, the Big E is the New England State's Fair. It's held in W. Springfield, MA each year and each of the states has a permanent building on the fairgrounds. I'm pretty sure that it's one of the half dozen or so largest fairs in the country, and something we look forward to every year. They felt that they just couldn't wait any longer, and had to cancel. I'm not really surprised, but still bummed out.

(It had been scheduled for September 18 - October 4)

IMO, if the movie that the ride is based on can't even be broadcast by the company, then the ride it is based on should go.

Anyone else watch this? Pretty disturbing. My one question is why didn’t they go after Epstein’s girlfriend for being involved?

I thought it was pretty good but I am a Spike Lee Movie fan and generally like most of his movies.
Delroy Lindo was flat out fantastic in it as was most of the acting.
And, as usual, Lee's Cinematography and music score were brilliant.
Give it a try.

An Air Force sergeant who was arrested in the fatal ambush of a Santa Cruz County deputy was charged Tuesday in connection with the killing of a federal security officer during George Floyd protests in Oakland last month, authorities said.

Staff Sgt. Steven Carrillo, 32, was charged with murder and attempted murder in the killing of federal officer Dave Patrick Underwood, 53.

Underwood was one of two officers who were shot May 29 while guarding the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building. The other officer was critically wounded in the drive-by attack. Both were members of Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service.

Authorities said Carrillo and a second man traveled to Oakland with the intent to kill police and believed the large demonstrations spurred by the death of Floyd in Minneapolis — which they were not a part of — would help them get away it.

"They came to Oakland to kill cops," said John Bennett, special agent in charge of the San Francisco division of the FBI.

I just read that Penn State will be deciding on June 15 whether to resume in person classes at main campus for the fall semester. What do you think the chances are that the campus will be reopened? And if so, what are the chances that football returns in the fall? And finally, if football returns, what are the chances the games will be played with fans attending inside Beaver Stadium? What are your views? I can see the campus open and football back but it’s hard to imagine a big football crowd inside the stadium this year.

So I literally just found out last week that the norm (and I guess official proper way) is one space after a period at the end of sentence. Google said that two spaces was used when typewriters were in use to allow enough room between sentences as typewriter spacing was not always uniform. Where as when on a computer, that is not true therefore two spaces no longer required.

Am I the only person that did not know this (I will date myself and say i learned on a typewriter and still use two spaces).
