So would you sign Mason Rudolph?

His four game run was amazing considering the circumstances.

A) He was third string for two years….meaning he got zero snaps in practice other then running the scout team against the defense. None with the starters.

B) Picket goes down around game ten and Trubisky gets the start for three games, Rudolph moved to second team. But since Trubisky needed practice he probably got 85% or so of the snaps in practice with Rudolph getting some.

C) The OC coordinator was fired so the offense was run by committee of HC and two other coaches. Made some changes that both QBs had to learn on the fly.

D) Major dissension on the team. Pickens would not run routes or block on run plays. Even stood and watched a opposing player pick up a fumble and run past him making no attempt to even touch the guy. Just stood there. Next game he ran away from a guy that had intercepted the ball. Dionte Johnson also refused to block on runs. Teammates were pissed, fans and sports writers outraged.

E) Head Coach under fire. Above issues plus failure to win a playoff game in six years.

F) Final game played at Baltimore…….had to win to have any reasonable shot at playoffs. Ravens rested six starters but the game was played ina torrential downpour making hard to throw or catch. And Rudolph went 18-20 won a game despite the pressure.

G) Played playoff game at Buffalo, in 20 degree/high winds of 30 MPH against a great Buffalo team. And had to play with out Defensive MVP finalist TJ Watt. Fell behind 21-7 at the half, Buffalo knew Steelers had to pass a lot to get back in the game, …. yet came back and had a chance to win. Probably his best half of football.

So with all this to overcome he played well winning three out of four games in bad conditions. Showed a lot of poise. Everyone watching felt the offense played much harder with him at the helm and players praised him after the season ended.

Seems to me he did enough to get a shot at starting somewhere. Tomlin already said Pickett is QB1 so Rudolph is most likely gone. The only question which team would he be a good fit and which could he have a good chan s to start?

BB Recruiting 2025 Hoops Prospects that are poised to rise up the Rivals150

2025 PG Kayden Mingo
Login to view embedded media Rivals had Mingo rated relatively high prior to the season, but even the No. 70 in which we have him slotted now feels a touch low for the 6-foot-1 point guard. Mingo has become a major weapon for one of the top high school teams in the country this season, as he has helped lead a loaded Long Island Lutheran squad to a national ranking and created lofty expectations for himself as he heads toward the summer circuit.

Mingo will be a must-see for college coaches in the EYBL, as he is in the process of improving his stock dramatically. Mingo should be knocking on the door of the top 50 in the next rankings refresh.

Recruitment: Wake Forest, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Cal are most involved with Mingo for the time being, but he seems likely to pick up additional offers in the coming months.

OT. Dental charges for deep gum cleaning and scaling. Seem to be very high.

My old dentist retired and I went to a new dentist who suggested I get deep cleaning because my gums have some pockets in the six to eight range. Don't have any serious pain or periodontal issues that I am aware of. Realize the pockets can become something worse.

In any event, it took them about an hour and 10 minutes to do my right side and 50 minutes to do my left side. Mostly seem like a regular cleaning to me other than they gave me some painkiller gel. Dentist is trying to charge $640 each for each visit which is more than $600 an hour. Seems totally unreasonable to me. Claims that National dental advisory service recommends this price. I am going to double-check that organization.

Curious if other people have had this procedure and what the charges were.

Who has it better than us?....

....Kansas City! Actually I didn't care who won or lost. One good thing about the playoffs vs the 17 game schedule, it does expose weakness in personnel, strategy, and culture.

It was a hard choice between wishing to see no more Taylor Swift drama vs the Harbaugh Brothers love fest.

I had to chose the Harbaughs although I don't have a problem with John.

His brother really creatively navigated and deflected a number of self-inflicted issues...if only the person who registered 'Detroit vs Everybody' added 'Michigan vs Everybody' it might have neutralized Jimmy's victim campaign.
