I once sat behind Liza Minnelli on a flight when I got upgraded to first class. She was with her then husband David Guest. The flight attendant told them that he was her biggest fan and knew everything about her. he offered her a free bottle of wine for the flight. I turned to my wife and said "Liza is a recovering alcoholic, what is this guy doing?" She was very gracious. She just took it and thanked him.
