I’ve had meniscus surgery on both knees about 10-12 years ago and see the doctors as needed for shots in the knee. The one knee has become pretty bad and I’ve been waiting for my parents to pass before I started this replacement. That time has come. Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with knee replacements. I do have a good group of doctors at Penn Med in Philly.
The Washington FG kicker missed two tonight, last one with 3 seconds remaining that would have forced OT. His earlier miss was much closer in. So important to have a reliable FG kicker
Ideally on the beach, but any suggestions welcomed.
I was looking at maybe CP Shuckers. Not actually on the beach but in walking distance from where I'm staying. Lots of advantages to not having to drive 🍺🍺🍺😁
Tons of time left (plus a big FG right before half) but maybe Brent Pry can help us out and get a much-needed win for his program after losing to Vandy and Rutgers.
I remember you stating that in your mind the hottest woman on the LPGA tour was Lexi Thompson. Somewhat surprised me because I think she is reasonably good looking but not super hot. In any event, I recently traveled to the LPGA Queen City golf tournament and had good tickets. I happened to be seated at a table next to Lexi Thompson at a pre tournament party. When she sat down at the table, she stretched out her hand and said hi I'm lexi. Had a short conversation with her about Naples Florida. All in all, a very nice, decent approachable person. I wish her the best in her retirement.
Olelion checked in at Shunk Hall as a Penn State freshman to begin one week of orientation. He opted not to wear the beanie at any time. Classes began on Oct. 3. My first home football game attended was against Boston College on Oct. 8. Paterno was in his first year as head coach leading the team to 5-5 record. That record was not as bad as it seems. The five losses were:
Michigan St. (9-0-1)
Army (8-2)
UCLA (9-1)
Syracuse (8-3)
Georgia Tech (9-2)
The only close loss was against Syracuse, 10-12. Best player after Mike Reid went down was probably sophomore Bob Campbell.
Can any of you youngsters imagine beginning classes in October? We were on quarters back then. A couple of key lines in the Alma Mater read, "as we stood at boyhood's gate" and "thou diidst mold us dear old state, into men, into men". Attire at football games was typically coat and tie and smart outfits for the young ladies
I'm going to be in Orlando for an event over a long weekend next month. Looking to ping on extended Nittany Network for recommendations.
I have responsibilities Thursday and Friday nights and *maybe* Saturday night, but Sunday night I'll be free to go out for a bit of nightlife.
Is there a "centralized" area of bars and restaurants? I'm staying near airport (Lake Nona) but can easily Uber to where ever (downtown??). Also, open to dining or brewery suggestions in Lake Nona.
Apparently, DC Allen's voice is/was so raspy that the player wearing the comms helmet (the green dot) couldn't understand his defensive play call. Looks like Dan Conner is now the voice of the D.
Barry has filed a lawsuit to force the Board to supply financial information that is necessary to perform his fiduciary duties and needs our help. Read here for the latest update. Regardless of what you think of him the guy is actually fighting for our University. Please read and get involved.
Mods, this is important. We will have some infighting in this thread but please ignore this one. PM me to discuss. Richie O, this is why I asked you to contact me a few days ago.
