please keep all discussions about Session I matches, team scores, PBP, mat assignments, outcomes of matches including non-PSU wrestlers, etc. in this thread.

Audio Streaming: Ironhead will be providing his PBP coverage at:

The audio stream will start at 11:20 am EST. Actual wrestling will not begin until noon EST. Between Suriano's injury, and PSU not qualifying anyone at 133, PSU will not have a wrestler on the mat until Jimmy Gulibon has his R1 141 match.

- if we win every match, we'll probably win Nationals. Our guys are going to go for bonus points whenever they can; that's their nature

Q: Gulibon since B1Gs
- he seems to be in good spirits. He was upset that day, but has learned to let it go. You want to see him go out on the podium. Honestly, it's kind of a gut things with him. We're hopeful for him and the team

Q: talk about Cutch
- Matt's a great kid, and a team player. Started the season at 84, and made that jump early after the wrestle-offs. He can do very well here. He has to be himself, and find ways to win matches through technique and hustle

Q: talk about VIncenzo and momentum
- yeah, he's wrestling great

Q: Nevills
- he needs to do what he does, he's going to be scoring a lot of points

Q: talk about Mark Hall
- He knows he can wrestle anybody. He did very well against Jordan. That preparation, and his confidence is everything. It's not the case for most true freshmen. He can go all the way. He's got to wrestle his matches and finish strong

Q: Nickal
- the loss didn't seem to really affect him. He learned from nationals last year. If these guys want to win it, they have to go out and win

Q: Nolf
- he's unique. he's feeling great. his expectation is to dominate, and score a lot of points.

Q: Retherford
- he's a tremendous leader -- perhaps the best I've had the honor to coach. He's a team player; has the right attitude. Wants to dominate, wants to score points. He's ready to go

Q: how tough is it to see Suriano's season to end
- he had a hard time. after practice, I sat him down and told him I was going to pull the plug. He could have won some matches, but the chance of injury was too great. It's tough on him and tough on his family. He'll be stronger because of it.

Yeah, you can get 4 screens in 1 browser. There should be a square with four small squares inside it on the lower right of the window. Click on that, and that enables you to open the 3 other screens.
