Now that's a post worth repeating!;)

Maybe this has been said since I am now just watching(catching up), but why wouldn't Nick have "stalled" when he was up 7-5 with 20 seconds left? Serious question
Thanks
Mills

If you go back and watch again, I believe he was. He certainly looked more defensive. Stalling is not in his nature. I think he kind of got caught in between by wrestling defensively rather than doing what he does. Think like a prevent defense in football. How many times does that backfire?

Well done, guys. I enjoyed most of the posts in the thread, and got a good sense of what I missed in Session 5

Moore just came to the restaurant we are at. Would it be wrong of me to order him a shot and say it from Kyle Colonel?
Think we're in the same restaurant. Chop Bar? I'm at the bar eating, wearing a PSU Wrestling hat.

So .... would we have been better off with BoJo beating amine by decision And taking 3rd by decision ?

Definitely would have been better if he beat amine and took 4th

No. BoJo would have picked up 3.5 points for advancing to the consy finals. So we're at least .5 points better off with BoJo having lost, perhaps even 1.5 points better off assuming BoJo would have beaten Lewis.

Take away the 3 team points BoJo was gifted by the MFF and it would have given us a little more flexibiity. We'd only need to win 3 of the 5 finals, no matter which weights they came from. Now Nickal is a must win unless we win the other 4 (or Snyder loses). I like our chances.

@Tom McAndrew

Once again, you show your superior management skills by saying, you "enjoyed most of the posts," instead of saying.... you just enjoyed mine. It makes the other posters feel more valued. Extraordinary sensitivity and carefully crafted prose Mr McAndrews!:D

Fun Facts, complements of Willie Saylor:

-Ronnie Perry became the first #15 seed to reach the finals.

- The state of Ohio went 0-9 in the semifinals.

- Jared Haught is the first finalist from the state of West Virginia and the second finalist ever for Virginia Tech.

- Sa'Derian Perry became Eastern Michigan's first All American since 1999.

- Kevin Jack became the first 3x All American from Connecticut.

- The team title will not go to an Iowa or Oklahoma school for the 8th straight year, the longest stretch in NCAA history.

- Penn State has not lost a semifinal in three straight NCAA tournaments. The last Nittany Lion to lose in the semi's was Jimmy Gulibon in 2015: 7-5 to Iowa's Cory Clark. They are 16-0 ever since.
