Rounding error?

I have said it before on here, but the write ups on Walker need to stop mentioning this "desire to stay close to home". Both State College and Blacksburg are 4 hours away from him and Columbus is only another 1.5 hours in the car. With traffic, State College could essentially be further from Columbus. Alluding to the fact that VT and PSU are "close to home" or giving them the benefit because of that is just ridiculous. BWI has 50 minute flights to Columbus 6x a day too!

OSU fan knowledge is now on par with Pitt fan knowledge. Wait..... now that I think back....that is really nothing new. Forget my post.

Thanks TJ. Good stuff. Did you notice that his placekicks are right-footed and that his punts are left-footed in the video. Incredible balance, strength, and consistency. Looks like a real steal to me.

You must have watched someone else, he punts right-footed

Yes but when you factor in that State College traffic compared to Columbus, it's a wash:rolleyes:

Does that guy actually live in Columbus? Whenever we traveled rt30 to U of Dayton, through Columbus, unless we traveled at night we planned for a delay going through Columbus.

Maybe he is talking only about game days, since we have a larger stadium with more fans attending.....

Ken Montgomery has a lot of offers, some very solid. His video highlights show a tall, quick, aggressive cover corner. He won't make anyone forget some of the hitters PSU has had in its defensive backfield over the years, but he looks like he can be a real player in coverage.

In the video in the link above, he is punting left footed. Probably just for fun.
I didn't see him punting in the link provided in TJ's post, so I went to his recruiting videos.
I'd like to see the left footed punting, did I miss the link in some other post?

I think really top quality Defensive Backs is the next, and possibly last frontier for CJF and his recruiting team. Trying to get NFL 1st round talent at Defensive Back, which Alabama and tOSU seem to do regularly. I can see John Reid as possibly an all B1G performer, but I don't see anybody yet that the pros would regard as worthy of a very high draft choice.

Maybe a break-through in the 2019 class?

Listed weight and pictures make him out to be in need of the S&C program, and that's fine. If he gets to PSU and sees Wade and some of the other DB's he'll get to work and be a DB with nice size...

I have seen some early draft rumors hinting that Christian Campbell could be a top 40 pick.

Most NFL ready DB's have both size and speed to start with. It will be interesting to see the 2018 group develop as they are listed as bigger framed than most of what CJF brought in within his previous classes. A kid like Wade can be a lights out PSU player but will not likely be a top draft choice due to his height. Maybe 2019 will be the class where CJF brings in a big 4/5 star DB....

But both Campbell and Oruwariye have the frames for the NFL, among the "older" CJF recruits. And Fields will have the physique once he fills out....

I noticed when Cade punts and you look at his reflection in a mirror.....it is as if he is punting left footed.....did anyone else notice that.... : )

Just being a jerk.....if he really punts with a different leg than what he place kicks with that would be very different. People are usually leg dominant just as they are hand dominant.

Agree with you about arm & leg domination.

But there was a video recently.....not sure if it was posted here or not.....where a high school guy (practicing) kicked a 50 yd FG with one leg then kicked a 40 yd FG with his other leg.

I was then so confused by watching that that I promptly fell on my face trying to walk in my house.

Maybe he's very self conscious about his appearance and is afraid that one leg would become stronger and visibly larger than the other?

Maybe he's actually ambidextrous when it comes to kicking and the clips just coincidentally show all of his right footed kicks and left footed punts?
