2018 Recruiting Thread

Judge, how many views are credited to the fights between posters? I know I tuned in to read the Bickersons. lol

OL

Fights are not the only thing that take this thread OT. Just look at the past 2 days of posts. Some Pitt, Rutgers, Michigan discussion (no one cares). Not much PSU recruiting news.

Uh oh.

Some "3 star .1 from a 4 star" is about to get locked up.

Looks like the Penn State private jet in the background!

Doesn't say much for Rutgers, that is for sure.

In all seriousness, Rutgers is dead in the water and will remain there unless they throw millions and millions at their program for facilities and for a truly big name coach with established recruiting credentials. If they could do that and get off the ground, they could make something of themselves with all of their in-state talent. But if they don't, they are looking at shear misery forever.
Kinda sounds like our basketball program, eh?

Duh.....

The point is that he is a pretty small WR. Not a replacement for Enis, who looks like another big, strong receiver that could pull down the jump ball throws the way Godwin did.... Put shorter next to Luketa for reference..... Wouldn't expect you to get it.....

Super phucking extra special retarded duh! .... You said he looked small compared to Luketka.
How do you think he would look standing beside Hamler, Hippenhammer or Polk? It's much wiser to own up to your dumb ass posts than try to cover them up with even dumber ass posts. Try growing a small sense of humor to balance out your other many small attributes. We already have tall wide outs. JJ DD Shorter DT.... and Hamilton did alright....but we ...in your pea brain need to match Enis in height to get a good wide out... Lol Is this GreginPitt or maybe GregatPitt?

Wiltfong: " Rasheed is a guarantee to be a great player on the college level. He's our #3 OT in the country, #47 overall, and was the most athletic tackle at the Army All American Bowl practices. He's an impact guy at the college level."

Asiedu is the composite #8 OT on 247. Would be great duo with Walker.

Wiltfong also calls PJ Mustipher and Jayson Oweh as good a combo at DT and DE in the country. Says Oweh one of the finest athletes in the country regardless of position, will be a great pass rusher.

Can I play?

How about we add stats next to height. The small players YOU listed accounted for a very small % of the total catches by WRs. Even if we go back to 2012 it is probably only about 10% of the total catches by WRs under 6'0. I will even give you Thompkins who you list as a tall WR.

If a small percentage of the WR catches are from WRs 6'0 and under do we really need as many small WRs?

Your posts are the stupid ones. Again, the point was that he is a small receiver. That's it. Feel free to post some additional nonsense, since that is your trade mark.

Let's go back to your original post.... a wide receiver looks small compared to his middle linebacker recruit friend. Defending post that qualifies as the pussy defense of the year of the idiot post of year.

No, you just did the trifecta stupid posts of the year. You started the stupid posts with your first response. I don't owe you an explanation of my post if you are too stupid to understand it. Nothing to defend. for the 4th time, the kid looks small. That's all there is to it.

Going for Bozo of the year here, are you? Obviously, I should have ignored your original nonsense.....

Hey.... I just learned here that Enis was replacing Chris Godwin.....who knew we skipped the 2014,2015,2016 recruiting seasons and the entire 2017 season? Ain't it jus amazin the thangs you can larn here.

I'm not sure if they are now arguing about which one is stupider or which one is the biggest ass. From the posts, it looks like a tie. The smart move would be to knock it off.

I am pissing around and acknowledge my posts were intended to be Ass posts today .... I take 95 percent of the posts in these recruiting threads for what they are worth..... nothing. I am glad for the 5% or so that are informative and interesting.

OK... for a serious post of mine from the past.....Here's a name that I have stood by since he was a late add.... Dae'Lun Darien.... 6' 4" 195 when he arrived. Dwight Galt has done his magic making this very athletic 3 star recruit both stronger and faster. He has kid glove hands and terrific vertical and horizontal leap/extension ability. He is a very hard worker and in PSU's last regular 2017 season game played WR, DB and special teams..... I posted the days he signed he was woefully underrated and the steal of his class. If, I am wrong over the next few years, I will be the first to post it here.

Darien has good size and great hands. Not sure of his speed. In HS he responded to a report that he had run a 5.2 40 by saying he had run 4.7. When he accepted his offer he said he would work on his speed. Seems to have a good attitude. Maybe this is his year.

Galts work has already paid off in his leg strength and speed.I will try to find the articles and link them, In one article Glat talks how is is easier to increase performance in athletes that have had no training vs those that have had bad training in HS. He was referring to Darien's progress so, I assume he didn't have much in HS. In another Darien talks about how with his increased leg strength he was surprised by his increased speed. Can't say enough about how important coach Galt is to this program......impacting all positions.... the guy knows his stuff.

Andrew "Every-Factor-Favors-Ohio-State" Lind at Eleven Warriors hedging his bet.

have a chance in his recruitment. Instead, it'll be tonight's meeting with Meyer and tomorrow's in-school and in-home visit with Penn State's James Franklin that will either solidify things for the Buckeyes or swing them back in favor of the Nittany Lions.

Sources close to both programs have indicated Meyer and Franklin were jockeying all week to get the last visit heading into the recruiting dead period, which begins on Feb. 5 and remains through signing day. It certainly favors Penn State to get the last face-to-face meeting, but Walker's recruitment very much remains a toss up.

I still believe Ohio State will be Walker's choice next week, but expect the staff to place even more importance on Tampa five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere's official visit this weekend if Meyer, Studrawa and Johnson get the sense he's trending away this evening.

and we can count the factor Mr Lind on one finger.

Yeah, that's a big whoa.

I'm not sure about that one, unless JF feels that he is doing the kid a solid by putting him into a better "family".
Perhaps. The way I'm looking at it right now, I'm hating both the ramifications and the visuals of taking on the kid without a 100% convincing argument that it was all a misunderstanding. What JF seems to be excelling at is going all in with the families and the perspectives of the families to the possibility of bringing back IY should be taken into consideration.
