2021 Recruiting Class Thread

I would argue that he has the size, speed, and athleticism to make a great LBer if they are looking at him as an athlete. He looks to be 6'2" and roughly 200-210 right now. I can see him at 225 without losing his speed.
Agreed, I think he could do either

I've always thought kickers should be star ranked against other kickers, not every other player in general.

The #1 ranked kicker in the country should be a 5 star player. He currently has zero stars and no rating.
.

Being #1 ranked at any position doesn’t guarantee a 5 Star.

I totally agree with this. In fact, a great kicker should be considered for a high star rating against players at any position. A great kicker is a key defender preventing kick return opportunities and limiting field position as well as being a significant scorer. Potentially a game changer. We all know the impact when you don't have a good kicker let alone a great kicker.

Tennessee shows up a lot with northern kids as well. I wonder why. Sure, Knoxville isnt deep Deep South, but if you’re going to the SEC, go to a winner.
Not so much a football recruiting answer but as someone who has worked with a few different places in the Maryland DC Northern Virginia area I can tell you that Tennessee does a good job up here I'm getting their name out. I see a lot of college ready kids that have interest in going to Tennessee as a school. So when you have some of your friends who are going there maybe it makes it a little bit more enticing.

Kid picked up a lot of double coverage and made a lot of contested receptions. Kid seems to have a deep route tree. Decent YAC, decent speed (not shifty nor a burner).

I got to see a little of the this kid play last season. Kid is an excellent prospect. Breaks his routes off clean and creates separation. Has great hands and catches just about everything that comes his way. Even in traffic. Kid has deceptive speed and can make people miss in the open field.

On a side note, his quarterback has a really nice touch on the deep ball

Have you ever seen a more beautiful HS uniform than the one worn by Andrel Anthony Jr?

Of course not as good or polished, but this kid reminds me a LOT of A-rob. Not a total burner, but makes a ton of contested catches and can certainly put some moves on guys and get up field.
He seems like a really good prospect. I doubt the staff takes more than 4 WRs including Clifford and White.

I was also impressed with his QB, it took a little time to figure out who he was. His name is Sam Busch, it doesn't look like he got any attention to play football in college but got a scholarship to MSU to play baseball.
