Lehr had some nice defense, opening the scoring with a turn while going out of bounds that was nearly a four. Gilman never looked rattled, just settled in and dictated pace. Scored with a few step outs, singles, go-behinds, and guts.
Yeah, don’t stop for a breath against that guy. Isn’t it known?
JB up against Yoshida (Japan)
- JB gives up a leg, step out point to Yoshida.
- JB, head bandage noticeably bloody, gets to a leg and runs it out of bounds, 1-1.
- With time winding down in the first, JB catches Yoshida flat, gets an easy double. 3-1 at break.
- Iran fans quite audible (their 79kg semifinalist is up in the other other match)
- JB gets a step out point by hoisting a kneeling Yoshida to his feet just as he pushes out. This is a trend, with defensive guys dropping to avoid the step out.
- JB goes behind, guts for another two. 8-1. :30 remaining.
- 10-1, another two on a go-behind. That's how it'll end. JB goes for gold again, in a new weight.

Cox continues to be one of the most frustrating wrestlers to root for. Insanely talented but Just does nothing, never tries to score and zero urgency when down late (or doesn't understand scoring?)
