DH the noticeably bigger wrestler. Some collar ties. No action thru a minute. Some heavy hands. One half shot from Noto that DH almost got behind him on at 1:20 to go. DH half shot with 0:30 to go. 0-0 after one.
Noto chooses neutral. Interesting. Half shot by DH at 1:15 to go. More Handfighting this period. DH shoots and Noto spins behind, showing great speed, and gets the TD. 2-0 Noto. Restart. DH to his feet, standing switch and out. 2-1 Noto after two.
DH chooses bottom. To his feet and out in 8 secs. 2-2. DH gets out of position and Noto almost gets behind. Still 2-2 with a minute to go. DH the aggressor but Noto showing good countering ability and a lot of quickness in doing so. Noto half shot but DH able to get out of it. DH deep shot… Noto whizzers… time runs out. 2-2. On to SV.
DH tries to counter Noto half shot, gets in bad position, gives leg, tries to retreat but Noto gets both ankles and the TD. 4-2 Noto wins. Tough start.

Not sure who had choice in 2nd, but it was Neutral. Noto with a takedown and Drew an escape, 2-1 after 2.
Whoever it was that said Noto would be a game early match was very right.

I don't know if its nagging injuries, lack of confidence, or just plain bad luck, but how did he go from AA to the version we witnessed at B1Gs and now here? Maybe he has a little left to do something in wrestlebacks?
