No. Not even close.

And it's arguably easier to be as dominant as Lee is as Cael was in the upper weights.
And even though Gable did lose to Owings, it's important to remember that Gable had the lead but went for the pin and got loose. Gable is, however you feel about Iowa, a total boss. He's still my #2 behind Cael.

That Uetake guy from Okie State was said to be amazing.

Cael, Hodge, Gable are the top three for me. Spencer is definitely top 10, arguably top 5, but he’s not supplanting any of my top 3.

Byers throwing shade at ol Tom Ryan

"The [Romero] gameplan was clearly to not engage."
That's been very evident every time Brooks has faced Romero this year. First in the PSU-tOSU dual meet in early Feb (probably the most egregious example). Then again at the B1G tourney. And now again at the NCAA tourney.

The tactic is Romero's best chance to win, but the refs allow it continue for far too long.

Is there a reason ESPN constantly leaves coverage of Penn State wrestlers?
Next year get ESPN+ if you can. Never miss a Penn State match. Best to have laptop and tv with espn app
In the end, you have to measure annoyance vs money. $10 ends the problem and you can stream on your phone, computer or TV.
The only way. Big plus you don't have to listen to announcers and watch commercials.

Lee is a certified stud. But he's lost from time to time. And he's been pinned. Both of those factors must be considered in the big picture - heck he gave up more back points in today's bout than I gave up in my entire career. And his body hasn't held up, which has limited his matches and effected his performances.

It's enough that he's being included in the conversation.
I know I'm an old fart, but my #1 (excluding Cael) remains Yojiro Uetake - a legend in his own time - which happened to be my time too.
