2024 Senior Worlds (non Olympic weights) - October 28-31

They both weighed 92 kg. Knock it off with the size advantage. DT got beat by a better wrestler, today.
Pardon me, Post Police… a better wording would’ve been “noticeable strength advantage”. That’s controllable and not an excuse by any means. DT knew what he signed up for and had time to adjust to 92kg. Sadulaev did it better.

If anything my post was to highlight that I’m not sure it would’ve mattered what the gameplan was… Sadulaev was just better.

Respectfully, kick rocks.

No doubt the guy was better, but one guy coming up to a weight and one guy going down a weight makes a difference. The Russian was an absolute tank. It looked like Taylor hit a brick wall when he go to a leg. I do not think I have ever seen anyone make Taylor seem slow. That is hard to do.

You said size advantage. There wasn't. Definitely a strength and ability advantage, but to say size (though now you say that's not what you meant) is just lazy.

Don't get your feelings hurt over words typed in a public forum.

I’ll try to fix it so you don’t feel like you need to correct me in the future. Good day.

Not a great showing for the US. I expected better with the guys we had going but 3 of them are probably over the hill so maybe it’s what I should have expected. Still, they all looked good at trials. Green is probably my biggest surprise. I thought he had a decent path but got handled and then the guy who beat him got teched. We should still come home with a couple medals hopefully but I don’t think any gold. I don’t have Vito beating Ono in the semis with how incredible Ono has looked. JB should win bronze. DT definitely still up in the air

Edit-didn’t realize Vito was wrestling right as I was typing this

Huge win by the newest Penn Stater.

I, for one, welcome our new Japanese overlords
Japan Flying GIF

Kaiponov is killing it this tournament. He has always competed at 74kg and nearly made Olympics but came down to 70kg for worlds this year and looks like the best guy in the bracket

if we didnt get to see JBs last carrer match live because of technical difficulties i will be devastated
If it was JB's last competitive match, in honor of JB I promise to yell something derogatory to coach Manning the next time Manning attends a wrestling competition at Penn State. I also promise to wait for Manning's first childlike outburst or excessive whine to deliver on first promise.
