Can someone explain the thought process on a few of these guys leaving their team now? Especially if it involves a bowl or potential playoff team? Why not finish out 4 more weeks, get the bowl/playoff experience, be with your teammates, have some fun doing it, THEN move on?
PSU has to bring in a #1 WR from the portal. Criteria: ability to consistently catch the ball, gain separation @ LOS, run crisp routes, and win 50/50 balls Can't continue to play "wait & see" with those currently on the roster.Having a receiver of his caliber this season beats OSU. It’s tough to say for next season what we exactly need at WR with some guys coming back and still developing and promising young guys like Denmark looking to get some playing time.
Yeah, McCall basically tried to die this year and NCSU wasn't the same without himHis seems to be a one off, but I didn't follow NC State enough to tell you for sure. He only missed one game from his stat line, but McCall got knocked out of the Clemson game and I'm not sure how much he played in the other games.
Even so, his stats would have made him our #2 WR if simply plugged in. Ironically his teams leading receiver was a TE. His 53 receptions at least says he can catch the ball.
Most schools need 50 with the scholarship limitsRhule expects as many as 50 transfers this year.
He should have stayed a UConn

Right and, as Dylan said, we need to lose 60--so at least 30 of those will be transfers to go along with graduation and early entry into the NFL draft. Most schools probably want 20-50 players to transfer--it's just do the right kids transfer or do you lose guys that matter.50 outgoing.
What is he, 25 now?
