Lately, it sure seems like we have an Iowa Troll among us who attempts to argue every anti-Iowa post and will not stop. It's quite annoying and has gotten worse more recently and yet others are still engaging this guy, which with the ignore button available is hard to understand.

A few University's did overaward a couple women's sports (golf, softball, swimming & diving), including Indiana.

Don't know the scholarship limits for those. Don't know school's emphasis on in state vs out of state talent for any sport or gender. Without this information it is hard to say how egregious any one university might be in one men's sport compared to women as a percentage of overawards of typicall awarded scholarships using the correct formula.

The NCAA/B1G just wanted this to go away. It wouldn't have been difficult to show intent and gender bias. The ignorance/bad math was heavily skewed towards men's programs and not women's programs. For example, Iowa somehow miscalculated the formula for nine men's programs with an excess of 19.52 combined scholarships. Using the same formula/bad math for the women's programs should have also resulted in overages as well, right? Yet, Iowa was in compliance with every women's program and awarded no additional scholarships to their female student athletes over the audited four year period.

Indiana was almost as bad with an additional 16.52 to their men's teams and a combined excess of only 1.07 scholarship equivalents to the women's golf and softball teams.

How did these two schools only manage to miscalculate scholarship equivalents on the men's side?

My bro who lives in Tucson sent me an article that said NASA identified a dead spot in the north east. It was Cherry Springs. Apparently it has the least amount of man made light on the east coast. You are encouraged to put red cellophane on flashlights and change your phone to a red screen.

I think it was on the DCNR State Park page but I read that it's one of places to star watch in the eastern US. And I think it's considered to be one of the darkest placed in the US, but I might be wrong there.

It's really dark at our camp also, but ambient light from Austin and Costello does creep in slightly.

My wife and I were there 5 years ago, it's that dark. We used the red cellophane filter and still almost stepped on some people.
There's a lot of room to set up chairs too. I mean multiple football fields worth of room.

We made an AirBnB in Coudersport our base camp. We were doing a Pennsylvania Wilds tour of Cherry Springs, Kinzua, the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, and Benezette (to see elk which we saw), before we spent two days visiting Worlds End SP. Did a good bit of hiking.

It was all part of creating my backstory for this deep cover op, so I have pictures.

My bro and his friends use to bungy jump off the kinzua bridge. Mt Jewett is a nice area.

Yeah, it's really insane how big the tourist attaction that Cherry Springs dark skies has become. If anyone wants to see it, there are folks there with very high dollar equipment and most of the time they're happy to show you what they're looking at. I don't begrudge anyone because it is quite unique and some people think MY hobbies are weird, but the locals have a lot of fun with the dark skies people (if you think wrestling fans are nerds, you don't know nothin').....

I’m down to two accounts now, my original account got booted for saying Lord Spencer had no right being in the all time goat conversation. That was even before he counted the lights a second time. If you've seen my posts over there, I do not think I violated any board rules. They get loony.
I actually lived in Iowa for a while, the Iowa Hawkeyes are their major sports team. Adding the fact that they believe there's a greatest call time in wrestling and you get a situation like this.
Any successful team will have a fan basin since entitlement, and when another key rises to the top and the real need to second shift place, going to get aggravated. And I think even the most rabid fans of the Hawkeyes know they have a tough road at home in the near future with Penn State..
