Bad news coming

What is the point of a post like that except for that person to post later IF they are right - Ha, I had the info first since he has provided ZERO real information - another NA NA Boo Boo I knew before you and in my book a d$ck post.

I'm not sure what you think I m kidding about. The only people they really answer to is their clients
If you work for a company that you don't own, you have to answer to someone. A sr. VP usually has executive vp's over them as well as the CEO, CFO, COO, etc.

I think I understand the frustration some of you are expressing, though I do feel that some of you are going a little far with the condemnation of the OP.

Over the years, I've had a lot of inside info on the FB team. 95% of the time I don't say anything. The other 5% of the time I do drop hints, or indicate that something is about to drop. Things have gotten a tad heated on many issues since Nov. 2011, so far the most part I avoid dropping hints.

Just sit back and wait to see what develops. At this point it's nothing more than a rumor on the board. How much value you place on it should be dependent upon how much confidence you have in what the OP has brought in prior posts.

If it turns out to be inaccurate info, you can hold that over the OP if you care to, or just put that into your memory bank for any future posts from the OP, or future posts containing FB team rumors.

There isn't a perfect way to handle bad info given to you in confidence. The safest thing is to not say a thing. The OP elected to give you guys a heads up, even if it is a little short on specifics. I'd ask that you not go crazy about his actions at this time.
Thank you Tom for giving this thread some sanity. This OP has been reliable in the past and perhaps his mistake was acknowledging in the first place he is privy to some bad news. That apparently fired people up because he didn't name the name(s). I'm taking the wait and see approach on this one.

Well if he works for say Morgan Stanley or Merrill Lynch and he is a Sr Vp that means he produces at least $1,000,000 in commissions at a conservative 40% payout hes at a min of $400,000 more likely $500,000 at that level you work for your clients and the rest of the guys you mentioned work for you. They are on the wrong side of the balance sheet, they produce nothing. So you want to come in at 10 and leave at 2 ? No problem just keep churning those numbers. You want to take a month off.? Sure how about 2? Meetings? With you mr CEO? Fly me to NY on your dime otherwise I m staying here. Don't like it, I'll take my $1 mil plus production and move across the street. Oh and by the way they'll write me a check for $2 mil just to make the walk. Want to take off at noon and coach HS football? Fine if your clients are fine

Well dick head if you are going to childishly resort to name calling. So now I'm a gym teacher? You really do have an inferiority complex. I'm fortunate enough to coach football as a hobby from my day job working for one of the largest financial companies in the US as a senior Vice President. Want to compare pay checks?

My reason for posting now is just informational. You don't like it put me on ignore.
When an OP has to brag about his professional status in life one cant play the "credibility" card.

What is the point of this thread? He's warning us of bad news regarding a player to what end? To cause anxiety? I mean really. We're gonna find out eventually, and when we do we'll deal with it when it happens. Unless its McSorly, Barkley or another starting Olineman I'm not gonna worry.

Can I ask it this way, if (ah, like just for instance) you gave your brother a hundred bucks to put on the Nits because he's going to Vegas and then to the game, is it time to tell him to put it in his pocket and bring it back?
Yikes, just came upon this. 4 pages and no solid information.

Shame on the Original Poster. Really bad form.

Well, Merrill Lynch's CEO makes $50+ million and Morgan Stanley's makes $21 million....$400,000 doesn't carry that much weight. Everyone in a company has to answer to someone.

Otoh they are smart enough to know you piss off, nickle dime enough $1 million producers you learn what garden leave is all about

It's a trick question! The coaches did not get their raise, so the game will be coached by the PLAYERS. Definitely a PLAYER issue!

That's fine, but when are you going to answer my question about who these guys answer to??

Sluggo,

Would you be surprised if I told you that the OP is nothing more than the person in charge of "back-office mortgage operations" for a "regional bank"? Basically, he's in charge of the department responsible for tracking whether borrowers pay their mortgages on time. He's also not a Sr. VP, rather he's a "senior" VP...as in he's more senior (in age) than the other VP's (who are around 30 years old).

The OP is a legend in his own mind.

Wrong, informational would be to say what the bad news is... what you said was clearly akin to "I know something that you don't".
And stick your tongue out and put your thumbs in your ears. Na na na na na na.
