Bo Bassett thread

The thing the struck me the most was him saying he wanted to go where he would change a program or something along those lines. If that's the case, PSU probably ain't gonna be the place for him to do that...
The biggest splash on the internet is to go where a program revolves around you rather than where an individual revolves around a program. Not saying OSU would revolve around Bo, but he would rather maybe have top billing there rather than be part of an ensemble cast.

Nick Suriano waves "hi". That didn't work out the best for the cruiseliner program.

There was a comment on the YouTube video saying the same thing and the flo account responded and said there was a follow up question that was edited out. Apparently Bo clarified and said he wants to change any program even if they are already successful.

With that being said, I still don't think he goes to PSU.

David Taylor made Bo sweat it out!
All packed, last yard cut, feeling great . . . till I caught this video. Damn. Only feeling dark vibes that neither will be a Lion, especially Bo. Nothing about him would change PSU’s program, his repeated goal. Such a thing may be possible at OkSt, a legendary program mired in mud. Sporting a dynamic new coach that Bo was crazy anxious to hear from has me moving the color wheel to orange. And if NIL is the tiebreaker, Cowboys will pony up.
And Jax seems so tight with Bo, I could easily see both chasing twisters out west. @AtownPoke will spontaneously combust if it happens. Lions would survive the double tap wound, but Blaze would make recovery a lot easier.

I don't disagree with your post except to say that reports are that DT inherited Cael's stingy gene when it comes to economics.

Penn State's visit was scheduled for yesterday. Is there any confirmation...verbal or video....that it even took place? We NEED to know! Details. NOW!

If I were a betting man, I'd have Bo going to tOSU and Jax to PSU.

I was going to note that as well. I think it means Iowa, OKSt, PSU and maybe ISU are out - he has an uphill climb to 'change' a pgm and be best ever... these programs now have a very rich past. He may bring back the glory for some... but yea, it would be good to hear him clarify a bit

I’ve said before I don’t think face of the program favors Iowa. Why do people connect him to Iowa over and over? Because he’s allegedly the next Spencer Lee. He’s going to get those comparisons forever. He doesn’t want to be the next Spencer Lee, he wants to be the first Bo Bassett.

I think it’ll be tricky at Ok State as well. Dee Lockett is the hometown Stillwater kid and just as good. But the opportunity to jumpstart the new hot program has to be appealing.

I think face of program works best for Ohio State if anywhere. It’s weird but for as good as Logan Stieber was, he never was super popular, likely cause he wasn’t talkative but maybe also because his first title was controversial.

Yeah I can see an Ohio State landing spot. I can see Jax at Okie St if Blaze doesn't go there or PSU if Blaze heads there.

Did someone say they edited this and there is more than just be the person to change/jump start a program. Or all you people trolls or just need to spout off like the ladies.

interesting no one mentioned the 'bag' amounts.... HS kid about to get 6 to 7 figures...can't tell me that isn't a consideration

Not exactly sure what you are trying to say here but I am assuming you are referring to my post. God forbid anyone think I was a troll, or even worse a lady, so I will explain it again. If you open the YouTube video there are several comments. One comment is similar to what JTS posted above about Bo saying he wanted to go to a program that he could change. The YouTube commenter also thought it meant Bo is probably not going to PSU. Tyler from Flo responded to that YouTube comment. The comment and reply from Tyler are copied below.

@williamoleary9330: So based on what Bassett said in the beginning it sounds like he’s not going to Penn State

@FloWrestling: I actually asked a follow up question to that but it didn’t make the edit. He clarified that he wants to change any program, even it’s already successful. -Tyler

Basset, jax and blaze are all great prospects but non are a must get. All would be a great get, but we’ll be ok if it doesn’t happen. Flo needs clicks so they will stir things around a bit. They also are a biased group for the most part.
Got one of the Big Four with Luke, give us one more and I'll take two out of four. Blaze would be my preference.

UTAH 22
OKST 19

Implications? Discuss.
Bassett was in Ann Arbor today, and unfortunately they beat the Spoiled Children. Worse, it was an exciting game -- Michigan scored the winning TD with under 1 min left.

Good news for us though: Michigan lost the turnover battle and did absolutely nothing in the air -- a whole 32 yards passing. They won by running the ball down USC's throat, 290 yards.

Damn, it's a good thing Bo doesn't play football.
