Bo Moving Up?

So basically Shak isn't beating Mouse anytime soon?
Good for Mouse. One of my favorites, Not flashy but gets the job done. Look forward seeing him at 84 this year.

As far as tig;s slam bigger hands will give you a better grip. I haven't noticed the other aspect personally.

I didn't gather that's what Ames was saying, sorry, but I did not conclude the same thing.

Got to get up earlier around here. Someone has taken care of the problem. Even I wouldn't of done that. Real low...

I also have no idea what that means either. Rasheed will wrestle where he wrestles and so will McCutcheon and so will Nickal, and the best wrestler will take the mat.

Hate to leave you hanging but...Nothing to see here, move along

The thought of having Retherford, Nolf, Cenzo, Hall, and Bo in the heart of our lineup gives every D1 Wrestling coach NIGHT TREMORS. I hope to see that happen beginning this year, and I want to see it for 2 years!

My money is on Cassar.

What if Cassar can't stay healthy? Who is plan B? Having 2 shoulder surgeries is not good. We have seen this scenario with the Altons. I'm a little surprised Rasheed can't beat Cutch. Is this a known fact? So if Nickle beats Cutch at 184, does he go for a spot at 197 or 174?

What we saw with the Altons, was it's own situation. There was a separate problem with gassing, that is still touchy around here, but nobody could ever pinpoint the cause. Yes he injured both arms but it has never been proven that this caused the gassing issue.

Who came out and said, definitively, that Rasheed "cannot beat" Cutch?

I must have missed that post.

A2S laid out Shak 174 & Bo 184 as one likely scenario, and Bo 174 & Mouse 184 as the other likely one. That implies Mouse > Shak @184, Bo > Shak @174 & 184, and Bo > Mouse @184.
hard to believe that you actually had to put it in black and white for some.

Separate issue with gassing that nobody could ever pinpoint the cause ...

Andrew, who will return at 149 pounds for Penn State, said he couldn’t pinpoint when the injury took place, only that soreness and fatigue in his right shoulder began to set in gradually as the season wore on.

“I could definitely feel it but you don’t know, you can still wrestle, can still practice,” Andrew Alton said. “It gets really tired. The more you do the more you can’t use it.”

Just read the article. I do remember it.

Off topic but how about this nugget: "
"Jordan Conaway returns after a memorable run last season but has redshirt freshman Jimmy Gulibon to contend with. Conaway was a win away from becoming an All-American while Gulibon tore through open tournaments and put up a 21-7 record with six technical falls and five major decisions."

Hold on....I thought he couldn't grip opponents, or finish shots?

Before Cassar broke out on the FS scene, Stout was penciled in as a starter for this year. Don't think he'd make AA, but think he'd do just fine.

Why does it not also imply Shak > Mouse at 174?

That's three posts in a row by you that cannot be understood. Please make a clear post, or if you have something other than that to add, send a private message.
sorry, I like both both wrestlers but if I had to pick one I would like to see matt healthy and wrestle his best at 84 this year. The other part of the post was me commenting on something else. I forget what that was.

Imagine being so deep, that a Round of 12 wrestler, just one bad decision away from a possible 5th or 7th place finish in nationals, is not even being discussed as a possible starter for you, the next year. And, he's a senior.

Wow.

Is this Morelli? Because he did not reach the Round of 12 last year. Did he ever at Pitt?

Well for one, A2S didn't imply it. He explicitly stated Rasheed at 74 and Bo at 84. Secondly, it may be that mouse can't get to 74 so there is nothing to contest.
Nor did A2S imply anything in Mike's post. He said Bo at 174 and Mouse at 184 just as explicitly as he said Rasheed at 174 and Bo at 184, yet you seemed to think Mike's implication (Mouse > Shak @184) to be spot on.

Look, I don't know who will wrestle where any more than you or Mike. I'm just pointing out that the Rasheed vs Mouse match-up ... at whatever weight it might occur ... is a long way from being decided ... or, if indeed it even comes down to it.
