Looks like once before the whistle, once after to me--but it was close.

I wonder what the wrestlers would say if they could critique our every behavior? Judge not, lest ye be judged...
Love me some Shakespeare!
That isn't Shakespeare.
Thus the emoji; I know my New Testament.
Bosco-you are entitled to your opinion -as am I.I'd really like to see you in something even close to Hall's situation and not show any emotion. I think the fans that were there(I include myself) should sit there and give the golf clap after a match like that. We should act like we've been there before, because we have.
Bosco-you are entitled to your opinion -as am I.
But don’t assume you know what athletic situations I’ve been in or not been in.
I’ll not come on a board & talk on my background....but I’m no Al Bundy-& I NEVER EVER drew the attention to myself in big situations.
In there defense-I was a garbage wrestler that did it to stay in shape for my “other” sports-so never in there situation.
Nickal is the only one I give a pass too-he won a national Championship for HIMSELF & his TEAM.
That I can’t compete with & had to be the greatest high he’ll ever experience.
Go Nittany Lions
"New Don't you guys get it yet "Hawk fans don't give a shit" what you Penn State people think."Old guy here and was always told back in the early 50's never embarras your opponent after the win behave like you been there. Dis like all sports that do this heck in pro sports you getting big pay no need to make a ass of yourself.. Seems to me just awhile back most boards thought Stevenson over reacted when he stood over his opponent and pounded his chest and said "this is my house" myself didn't like that either. How will you take that if he does beat your Hwt at big tens not look good right..
Let's go to the tape!

He was rubbing it in the other refs face. Or, maybe a riding time point? Either/or.So what was the ref holding up one finger for??
So what was the ref holding up one finger for??
RBY was wagging his finger at ASU coaches before the match ended.
FIFYOkay the votes are in and it's official. This topic actually ranks as one of the BEST ever written! It's a true classic considering the quality of topics discussed on this board; and that is saying something!!
Yeah, I am old. Yeah, many of my posts can certainly be deemed "classless."
That's why i feel I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to tasteless demonstrations.
If we were wrestling fans outside of Penn State most on this board would have made some type of snide comment about their celebration. Admit it. Don't be a bunch of hypocrites.
I along with most of you have given Cael & Casey tremendous accolades for their unparalleled performance in recent wrestling history in producing elite, classy wrestlers.
To me those celebrations were a step back in the classy department.
I just want a team to be all-in on it. I'm ready for a bad boys of college wrestling. I need Nolf lighting up a Marlboro Red 72 on the bench afterwards, flipping off the opposing coach. I want military fatigues off the plane at natty's. Instagram Live-ing themselves playing poker instead of practice in the room.
All this wishy-washy nonsense... Either be the most arrogant, over-the-top team or act like you've won a match before.
BlockedHolding "kids" that are 18-23 yr old grown men to a different standard than the rest of us is a weak ass argument from a weak ass "man".
I folded the flag over the casket of a 19 year old "kid" and gave it to his father.
They ain't kids and you can quit giving them a free pass for being college heroes. There are real grown men doing real grown men shit at the same age.
I'm my 20+ years of active duty, nobody ever played air guitar after clearing a house.
Bet they whooped and hollered. Has every retired SEAL written a book yet?Holding "kids" that are 18-23 yr old grown men to a different standard than the rest of us is a weak ass argument from a weak ass "man".

The “look at me” generation hasn’t skipped those in the military. A far cry from the guys who fought in WWII.
Also: don't generalize an entire generation of people. As you go back in time, history will consistently appall at least as much as it inspires. When you know better, do better. The guys who fought in WW2 created a system that bankrupted every future generation.
The guys who fought in WW2 were so soft, they demanded that people who weren’t white be arrested for using the same water fountains or living in the same neighborhoods.
Don’t talk about the greatness of a generation that would Lynch someone because they didn’t like the way they were looked at.
no way man. This thread is funevery once and awhile you just have to nuke a thread for the F of it.
Just to make sure the button is still working.
this is probably that thread?!?!
My post was in reference to the maturity of a 19 yr old KIA vs a 19 yr old college hero playing an air guitar.........and yes I most certainly did fold a flag and hand it to the next of kin. 21 times. I was a pallbearer 4 times, casualty notification officer 11 time (give that a try boy), firing squad 6 times and place wreaths EVERY year at Arlington.Top 5 dumbest posts I've ever read on a message board, and I've been reading Vodka, Grip, and DonHawkeye. Anybody who has actually folded the flag over the casket of a 19-year-old kid or been the father it was handed to is going to have enough respect for real sacrifice and duty to not compare it to a post-match athletic celebration.
