Cassar & Hall's: Classless Post Match Celebrations

I personally don't like the idea of nuking, mainly because of the long term environmental effect... Maybe lets drop a MOAB on this thread and see how that goes first?

On a side note, comparing human responses to active warfare and a wrestling match is the opposite of rational, just sayin'..

So to sum up what we have learned here today.
1. Wrestling matches should resemble military funerals in tone.
2. You can't please everybody.
3. Serving in the military is worthy of respect, but confers no moral authority (see fairy comment above).
4. Being a tough guy on a message board brings only derision on one's self.
5. Ironic screen names are the spice of life.

Ok..this is getting out of hand.. Iceland and dog photos just to lighten the mood...

Did you hike above Skogafoss? I hiked about 3 hours or so past it to reach the volcano - it was a series of 20+ additional waterfalls before the eruption scarred land really started. Really cool - even in the driving rain

Hikers paradise pretty much. Thirsty? Just dip your water bottle in pretty much any stream that’s not boiling and drink

That looks scary, but I know Mrs HockeyGod survived so it's all good. Great pics. :)

As a 19yo in the Coast Guard, I would air guitar the slightest accomplishment or bit of good news. 2 poops during the workday? Air guitar. Canned peaches for desert? Air guitar (even our cooks can't screw those up). Pulling into Keflavik on this trip? Air guitar. See how I pulled everything together there?

I legitimately laughed out loud while reading this hahaha awesome!!!

I've always enjoyed reading your post Crop.
You coach right? High school? How's your team looking this year?

My HS team is pretty rough. Low numbers in a traditionally-rich hockey city. We're trying to build, though. Sent 1 to state in each of the last two years, hoping to send more than 1 this year. Convincing kids to wrestle on an already losing team, while they lose and learn the sport is difficult.

We don't air guitar after we win.

Which state did you send them to? ;)

It’s states , sent 1 to states

Any good guitar riffs in Ballroom Blitz?
All right now!
No long riffs but there is a lot of metal guitar. We used to listen to the cassette tape of Krokus-Ballroom blitz every day in my senior year forestry class. Found it funny when MH came out to it.

Can someone please double down and post a photo of a dog in Iceland? It doesn't even have to be an Icelandic dog, a tourist dog in Iceland will suffice.
But the dog has to be sitting on an Iceland native blond in a bikini, and holding a beer. I bet HockeyGod has one-I have enjoyed looking at his pictures, if not the rest of the thread.

i was thinking more of the little fast kid on the incredibles, crossbred with superman-able to leap large states with a single bound, and doing it so fast he isn't seen. But-he has to sit still at some point, right? just to type his pledges he doesn't keep?
He’s like an arrow in flight - always stationary (since it is at all times a set distance from 2 points), but always moving

You guys are wasting my time, I've read 6 pages and none of you have told me the song Hall was playing in celebration!

From where I sat, i thought it was Arizona by Mark Lindsey!

I Ain't No Joke, by Eric B & Rakim
