Yeah I wasn’t sure. Not like a major was needed. The corner probably thought better to work on trying to get a short time TD than the ride out.
This dude needs to take an anatomy class, he has no idea where the crotch is.

Maybe. Though one could argue Facundo needs to work on short time ride outs as well. Over the course of the season, Facundo has been quite disinclined to put a ride on anyone, even for short periods.
Whoa, the Nebraska 133 guy got taken down by ASU opponent and proceeded to puke on the mat. Ugh.
By the clock at Rec, it was 14.9 sec left with 45s of rt. he would have been a tenth of a second short of riding time at the end of the match.
3 pages of guys volunteering that they didn't listen to Byers.
Yes, Ball came out. Tough last PSU match for him but nice career for a walk on.
What happened in Donovan Balls match? Did he get caught in a pinning combination from Neutral? Summary said he was pinned at 1:20.
Yeah, from Neutral. He just sort of dumped him off a tight elbow in a fireman's postion (but he didn't reach for the leg), then stepped over while keeping the elbow tight. Nice move.
A few thoughts
The Clarion kids came to wrestle.
Kudos to their 197-pounder; not many kids outwrestle Max in the 3rd period.
If Beau wrestles that way through the postseason, he'll do some damage.
Gotta love our Freshmen.
An excellent way for RBY to put a stamp on his Rec Hall career.
With all the opt-outs in Tampa yesterday, maybe teams should stop scheduling big meets at the end of the season and go with the Clarions of the world ... at least they showed up.

Clarion definitely came with their Greco-Roman squad. I wonder if they always wrestle so much upper body.

I was chatting with the 125lbers Clarion Mom. She told me the kids that knew they didn't have a shot, were going to throw caution to the wind, and go for big throws. They were going to make the best out of the experience.
I also sat next to Haines' girlfriend. Sweetest little girl. Found out that he is a better hunter than wrestler. I feel bad for any creature he has in his scope, cause he's a darn good wrestler.
And she's a Maddie.
I listened to Jeff and turned the sound off so I didn’t have to listen to those two shlubs. I did turn the BTN+ broadcast at the end just in time to hear them say “we’ll be with you again at the BIGs. Great 👎🏻👎🏻
I went hiking today and watched the replay of the match. I couldn’t wait to read everyone else’s thoughts on the announcers. They definitely gave the Nebraska illegal fist crew a run for their money!
There was only 14.5 seconds remaining and he had 45 seconds of riding time. He cut him to try to get the major.
I will have to watch the tape. The arena clock showed 42secs of riding time and 18.5 secs left in the match.
I may be misremembering, people were asking a bunch of questions today. Lots of friendly people around.

This is correct. That's why he cut him-couldn't get the RT point for the major so he had to go for the takedown.
In Rec and I recall it as Freeborn did. Would have been a hair short with ride out.
Byers also said that Facundo would not have clinched RT with a rideout.
Well you always have the choice to listen to JB on the radio/lionvision.
He also loves his ice cream bc I ate some with him at the creamery after the match
