Those Polish kids are tough if you can get them to lay off the Haluski...........Ruth needs to get into a good weight training program.

Yes. Good Catch dunke cause i admire all coaches at the HS level...Yes. Not able to max out his talent and his skills i a better way of putting it....

Wrestled already. Gee not much of a break....I am super pumped to see Edmond after a season at Blair....That is when his brother started to get really good and just kept getting better in college !!!!

I think this tourney is good for Snacks. He was on offense the entire match. just had hard time finishing a few shots. tough on top. Strong. needs polish.

Is the finals this evening or tomorrow ? Time ? Don't want to miss them....Seth looked very good in the semis...Yes he will get a great test in the finals...Maybe we will hear something this weekend from Seth.
 
Blumer lost a wild 14-11 match in consi semis, gets a rematch with Cole Matthews for 5th.

Well he likely won't wrestle either one but I'd bet you a hefty sum he's not recruited by PSU. Not good enough. Needs to just a number of levels to get there

I think he's very good. State runner up, kept it close with 3x champ and UVA-bound Cam Coy in the finals. Needs to get a bit more offense but very physically gifted

CSauertieg - If you remember his brother was not that great in 10th grade...I mean he finished 2nd to QW but after he went to Blair he went up about 3 levels..Cael and Casey already know everything i am telling you....Plus he is getting recruited by PSU...Guess you were not down at States watching who Cael was talking with before Edmond won the Title....

Yeah, not much doubt about that. He's real good.

Starocci's only losses this year were to Coy 2x (11-6, 5-2) and to Griffith (3-0). He beat Riley Palmer, Gerrit Nijuenhuis 2x, Bailey Thomas, Will Kaldes.

If he stays put at 152 next year, he'll be state champ (barring Sasso moving up 2 weights). If he moves up, I'm not sure he beats Hidlay yet. Stillings would be a real good matchup.

If he is not plan A why is Cael recruiting him now as a 10th grader ? Hummm.lol...Wanna know why ? He knows he will advance 3 to 4 levels during the next 2 years...Why do you think he is going to Blair a year before his brother ? Humm...It's all good bro we will see what happens in time.

Because he needs more development than his brother? Because his brother went to Blair first, so they knew to look for him?

He definitely belongs in the group of guys to watch for in 2019. But right now he is clearly behind Starocci and a few others, and has quite a bit of work ahead to put himself at the top of that list. Hell, he has a lot of work to catch up with his soon-to-be teammate Julian Ramirez.

The other thing is: if our 2018 haul is as big as we think it could be, 2019 will be smaller than usual. If it comes down to Ruth or Kurt McHenry (or JoJo Aragona), we will need a future 125 more. If it comes down to Ruth or 2x Fargo double champ Nick Raimo ...

Dude, just watch him wrestle. Physically he's nowhere near the level the of athlete that Ed was even before the transfer. I say that as someone who grew up a year younger than Ed in the same district and watched him develop. There's a reason Edmond isn't even the in the T20 at his weight class right now. Penn State is at a point where they're signing only blue chip recruits, Edmond Ruth doesn't look near that
