Football GAMEDAY THREAD - THE WHITE OUT -- Penn State vs. Iowa

I've hated this type of running game for years. Every carry is like a slow-developing old style draw. Every play has the OL starting from a blocking stance. Been this way since O'Brien left.

You don't think we were lucky on punting into Iowa blockers back, incomplete pass vs lateral, and 4th and 1 spot?
The spot was 50 50, not a terrible call. Why didn't they challenge if it was so obvious?

Again, the offense should be uber conservative today. Iowa has zero chance of winning this game unless we turn the ball over.

I’ve always wondered what the Steelers would look like with black pants on the road uniform… thanks for testing it out Iowa, they look atrocious.

Maybe they thought we were stupid and were going to try to do something after the weird first down call.
Danielson, "if they are going to go out of the shotgun in the endzone then Iowa should take a time out. I would"

What inane blabbering is that? They only have one TO, totally helpless.

At halftime it seems like, much to our chagrin, the plodding offense will inevitably score another ten points and Iowa will be lucky to get a FG. 20-3 covers but hits the under.

CBS coverage has been favorable so far - much like how ESPN fluffed us in 2019. Seems they’ve mixed the crowd in a bit louder than normal in the audio and they have lots of good things to say about the environment.
