Also to clarify because i'm seeing a lot of people misunderstand, this is a position for Marinelli's new youth club in Iowa City, not the HWC or college team. I've heard good things about the way ADS works with young wrestlers.
As long as it wasn't Gobblin that told you, then maybe this is a perfect setup for him then. Would be awesome if helping out kids gave him something to take pride in.
John's been running a clown show down there for the last decade. They're the first team I think of when I think "party culture."
There is no way these kids for into any type of Iowa culture not going to happen. I can see it now brands tells him to do something and an saying **** you ok I'll do it my way. This is going to be a nightmare I couldn't wish on even Iowa which makes it really sad

What I was going with was in regards to desanto being on the team Downey not so much and don't think he ever wrestled for Iowa. Time will tell. I sure hope the brands don't put up with their shit they have earned better than that and I'm not a brands fan

Desanto is coaching some youth club run by Marinelli. He won't be anywhere near the Ferraris.
Desanto trains with/competes for HWC. Should they all move to IC, so would the Ferraris (I assume).
I know everybody is enjoying piling on the Ferrari's joining Iowa and how much they think it is going to fail but it would seem that if it happens and there are no issues it could make things tighter.
125 Ayala/Howard- Toss-up, maybe favor Ayala on past results but I am a fan of Robbie
133 TBD/TBD I would doubt Davis goes as a freshman
141 Woods/Bartlett Woods has to be favored
149 Chittum/Van Ness- I like SVN here based on experience in the big tournament however Chittum is showing very good results
157 Ferrari/ Haines Haines, no more needs to be said
165 Kennedy/ Facundo- Past results, edge Kennedy
174 Nobody beating Carter if he wrestles. Personally I think his comments get him more NIL money and he returns limited

Depending on how things play out Iowa is favored in 4 with complete unknown at 133. If AB or Carter take OLY RS this changes completely and makes Iowa the favorite barring any issues with the Ferraris. It is too far out but it does make things interesting.

I made some notes above. Yes, the addition of AJ Ferrari makes a difference. I don't even see Anthony seeing the mat at Iowa.
No doubt things get tight in a dual - it was a little tight this year. Tournament is another story.
Let’s see Chittum compete in college folkstyle before we get too crazy with predictions. Carter Young is a cautionary tale. Plus it won’t be a 20 year old beating up on 16 year olds anymore
Talk on GIA is that Chittum might be a 157 and they have a hole at 149 with the best options being either Rathjen or Siebrecht making the cut. If Chittum can't hold 149, then Ferrari isn't seeing the lineup. He's not better than Chittum or Kennedy (or Arnold, their presumptive 174).
