Sounds like this dumpster fire move is only going to get worse...

Another question. Has it been discussed whether Robbie might try to bulk up and go to 133 in order to add some muscle and possibly better protect his shoulders? We have holes at both 125 and 133, but I don't see Steen as even a plug at 133. Steen at 125 then a bulked-up Robbie at 133 isn't ideal, but it's at least not a black hole.

Slumlord Millionaire is fully on board, but no surprise there given his moral compass

Honestly this article is just as likely the journalist reading a message board and making up an NIL donor to make it more plausible.

Brands + Brands + Desanto + Ferrari + Ferrari + Ferrari =

2BDF to the 3rd.

It's been a while, but thinking back to my chemistry days. Isn't that the chemical formula for either Dynamite or Cyanide, I am not quite sure.
Isn't there a movie about that already?

Talk on GIA is that Chittum might be a 157 and they have a hole at 149 with the best options being either Rathjen or Siebrecht making the cut. If Chittum can't hold 149, then Ferrari isn't seeing the lineup. He's not better than Chittum or Kennedy (or Arnold, their presumptive 174).
Id be shocked if Siebrecht could make 149. Not even John Smith could make that work.

Jts is a likeable guy, you, not so much. You might be right though, why don't you start a pole

I'm not so sure of that. This happened at the 2021 championships, as a 23 year old.

“Austin DeSanto will not participate in the NCAA Parade of All-Americans or medal stand ceremony Saturday night. DeSanto behaved inappropriately toward NCAA media officials while exiting the mat this afternoon and after consulting with the NCAA Wrestling Committee and our administration, we have made an institutional decision to withhold him from tonight’s activities.”

DeSanto looks like Chrissy Moltisanti in that photo. Uncanny.

I made some notes above. Yes, the addition of AJ Ferrari makes a difference. I don't even see Anthony seeing the mat at Iowa.
If Chittum can make 149 SVN will take it to him. Chittum is good but Shayne is a level above after what we just saw from him. I see Chittum at 157 though and Kennedy at 165 with Ferrari not seeing the lineup. I have no idea if Cobe can make 149 but I like that kid and hope he can make the lineup

The first two Ferraris seem to have a record of trouble. The third may well be in his way, but I’ll let him screw up himself before I pass judgment. I don’t judge anyone here negatively for posting on same board as @Cstroke.

Yeah, I mean, obviously DeSanto never reached his wrestling goals, but on a personal level, he is probably the Brands' greatest triumph, and possibly the reason they think they can deal with this shitshow.
He told a female reporter that he wanted to kill her. As a junior. At the national tournament. Is the great triumph the fact that he didn't kill her?

Am I taking crazy pills? Did Desanto really change? He threatened to kill a girl at NCAAs and then tried to fight Schriever’s parents for supporting their son…
Beat me to it, lol, my sentiments exactly.

If Ferarri can replicate Desantos behavior improvements, he will be scaled down to shooting a glock from a hoverboard by the time he graduates.

Robbie Tweeted that he'd be in the leadoff position.

Correct and thats because the scuttlebutt has it that since Chittum is wrestling 70kg internationally, which would mean he is closer to 154. I do not know what he is cutting to make it to 70 kg but i would say that 5 lb cut to 149 would not be bad but again speculation and rumors at this point

Not that I'm keeping score but they have one commit that has a Dad running around spouting off that PSU has a racist culture. They are putting the guy who can't stop calling PSU fans pedophiles name on their new wrestling room and now they are welcoming criminal/criminals into their program. The Hawkeyes have become the gift that keeps on giving....
And no matter what crime family they bring into wrestle for them, we still keep kicking their asses!!!! Children of the Corn!!!!

Also to clarify because i'm seeing a lot of people misunderstand, this is a position for Marinelli's new youth club in Iowa City, not the HWC or college team. I've heard good things about the way ADS works with young wrestlers.
I could see a guy like that being good with kids . He probably has more patience with them and can control his impulses better around them.

SVN just completed his freshman season. He was 3rd in the country and lead the 5th ever 4-time champ with a minute to go, after taking him down in the 3rd period. Any talk of Chittum beating SVN should be dismissed.

I was actually asking a genuine question. My understanding was that Downey didn’t actually get into Iowa, not that the Brands specifically turned him down for being on the team. I may be wrong.
IIRC Downey posted getting a rejection letter. I'm disinclined to go thru his social media to find that, might catch a disease or something.

I guess it's possible that Brands was the one who rejected him and let the University of Iowa play bad cop. But that wasn't apparent at the time.

125 Noto
133 Bartlett

Solved.

It depends on who you ask some are adamant he was on the team. I'm pretty sure he never wrestled a match for Iowa so technicality aside I would say no

If you haven’t caught anything from here yet and you afraid of his social media are you even trying?

Anyone taking bets on who it is?
This Mastrogovanni kid is the MAN!!!! He lays waste to the Ferrari family. Bangs Ferrari's girlfriend not satisfied. Then blasts all over Ferrari's sister like she was Jackson Pollack painting! If you told me that he nailed Ferrari's MILF Mom too, I would be calling contractors and building a shrine in my backyard to him tomorrow?

It gets even better. He is one of three wrestling brothers from Sparta, New Jersey!!! It is like a Pasiano Hatfield & McCoys Jersey Shore style!!! This gonna be great to watch over the coming years!!

Didn’t Mastro quit the team this year? Kinda disappeared and never heard why.
