People were complaining about Michigan mocking us but we played Jump Around today in the stadium in the 4th quarter. How is that different?

Was it done in a mocking fashion or was it just done? Wasn't there today. Everyone copies everyone else these days. Everyone does White Stripes, everyone does Kernkraft, everyone did the wave (why do we still do that???) Granted, Jump Around isn't a "regular" at Beaver Stadium but maybe it will be done with some intermitten frequency. Maybe it was just a "try out". Of course if it was done in some mocking fashion, well.......

Not sure about how the jump around works, but if it is what I think it is, I am not sure that I would want to be high in the stands. I had seats in EEU for years and we could feel the vibrations when the next door student section would be jumping in sync.

It was played during pregame warm ups as well. The Wisconsin players and fans did not seem to mind as they participated. I don't know if it was done for mocking purposes or not but I can tell you it was frigid in the stands today. By the 4th quarter my feet were ice cold. Jump Around gets people on their feet and gets the blood pumping.

It’s not different. It wasn’t a big deal last week when Michigan did it, not a big deal this week if Penn State did it.

It wasn't done in a mocking fashion. In fact, it's what the band played during the pregame program as an homage.

Now, I get that CJF brings it on himself some, so I won't complain when other teams stick it to us. But if you don't get the difference between what we did and the general dickishness of someone like Winovich, I can't help you.
