I was thinking about cancelling my flo pro until December. Thank goodness I procrastinate. That was 3 entertaining matches in a row (Lee, Nolf, Cenzo).
Pyles just clarified on Twitter to me that on the first challenge they couldn't make a judgement because of the angle so it was not failed. Joseph should have been awarded a point on the one at the end (which shouldn't have been allowed in the first place).
Glad Joseph got the win - he deserved it. Valencia with a clear lunger at the end, plus Jones with the first challenge which was definitely a strategic one at that point in the match (up 8 with a minute plus to go and needing a breather). The trainer with the ankle wrap that circled the ankles maybe twice was funny.

Gross is really crafty - was just saying that to somebody here in his previous match against Freeman (who is impressive, he's also a JR in HS). I had a feeling Lee's aggressiveness was going to be a problem for him. He just doesn't have the finishes yet at this point in his career to deal with somebody like Gross. You could really see it on his 2nd attack which was a double.
But as I've been saying for a year now, he's right up there with as big time of a pickup as we've had - especially when you consider we got his brother in the package. He is a super recruit that nobody talks about.

Glad Nolf won. Didn't want him to transfer to UNC because Cael recruited a middleweight that could beat him. Better root for him against Hall, too.
Cenzo is going to be fun to watch for the next 4 years!. Redshirt freshman giving Nolf all he wanted.
Nolf's closest competition is what he sees every day with Zain, Frank, Cenzo etc.....
Maybe the babes, parties and weather in Tempe aren't helping. Everyone focused on those things as huge drawing cards for ASU. Maybe so, but they are hardly conducive to keeping one focused when participating in a sport that is all about discipline. Maruca and Benick are hardly tearing it up.
Hard to see how you can screw Zahid up, though.
Neither did Tanner, but that was coming off a mission and wrestling way up from what he'd ever seen.
