Like the Hawkeyes National Championships? Such is life

No excuse that is why its an unfair advantage to OUR own Mark Hall as well.....Not a fair match for anyone who has already wrestled 3 or 4 matches prior...Oh well maybe they will look into it....Sounds like a ready made excuse you keep in your back pocket. Anthony 174, Zahid 184.Is Valencia going to wrestle same weight as Nickal for collegiate wrestling?
Anthony 174, Zahid 184.
Very proud of the way every single PSU wrestler (current and future) wrestled during these past two days. Not an ounce of quit in any of them and signs of improvement all around.
Cenzo and Massa in a freaky situation in their consolation match. Both wrestlers ended up injured on the mat, Joseph shook it off first but Massa stayed down for an extended period of time, 5-10 minutes. I did not see what happened in the match to cause the injuries though. He seemed to get up on his own at the end, thankfully.
Appears (from what I've seen) El-Jefe is correct...though Anthony might be better suited for 165 for a year.Maruca 157, Shields 165, AV 174, ZV 184.
They wrestled for true 3rd. Hal beat Nolf 10-0 and 10-6.Massa took 2 of 3 from Cenzo?
there is a possibility the Valencias are at 165 and 174 this upcoming season
Cutting weight + 120-deg heat = one really bad idea. If this is Zeke's concept of roster building ... it's easy to blame partying in Tempe.there is a possibility the Valencias are at 165 and 174 this upcoming season
according to Zahid per his flo interview he basically just wrestled his walk around weight so i don't think he's going to be cutting a massive amount of weightCutting weight + 120-deg heat = one really bad idea. If this is Zeke's concept of roster building ... it's easy to blame partying in Tempe.

That's a period. Followed by a period. He is serious folks.A Valencia-174
Z Valencia-184
Period.

I hate reading things like that, and it's concerning to me. Like an anorexic who thinks they're too fat. He got to the challenge final for junior worlds. He is top 4 in the country at his freestyle weight for his age. He should be taking positives away from this, and yet he sees all negatives. He has all the skills in the world, but has to fix the gas tank. I just hope he doesn't have the oxygen issues that seemed to plague the Altons. Hard to fix physiology.
A Valencia-174
Z Valencia-184
Period.
No, I didn't know that about the Altons, who are from my home town. Thank you most sincerely. With all due respect, you do know both Altons had multiple chronic injuries, right? Hard to have a big gas tank (physiology) when you are practicing/wrestling hurt. The HR board is not a good place to learn PSU wrestling history.
Lame. Make a point or don't post. My post has A Valencia at 174 and Z Valencia at 184, you think different then prove it, stop attempting the pile on.
ASU is loaded with talent around those weights not just talking about those 2 so this upcoming season it doesn't really matter where the Valencias go, theres going to be some talented guys riding the bench for themMaybe, but he's not the only one on the team. For example: this would drive Maruca and Shields to 149 and 157 -- 1.5 classes below their HS weights. I understand that a lot of HS kids wrestle near their walking weights. On the other hand, HS kids are not trying to gain man strength in college S&C programs. They should maintain or gain, not cut. Especially in that heat.
Who goes 184 for them if the Valencias drop? If Benick, then who goes 197?ASU is loaded with talent around those weights not just talking about those 2 so this upcoming season it doesn't really matter where the Valencias go, theres going to be some talented guys riding the bench for them
You perioded a period AND then called someone out and told him to prove it. Got to tell you amigo, you are worth the price of admission to this site.
Remember when Z.Valencia won state at 132 just two years ago?
Considering there's another unnamed poster who cares a lot more than most about MSU158, I'll rate your trolls skills somewhere between Grandmaster and Flo's #1 PFP Jammen.Togs, what happened to JoJo? I understand getting smashed by Nolf, but 1-2 in his backside match to end his day...ugh.
Whats up with Pic too?
I know PSU has 1st world problems at 133/141, 184 & now 197 but your offseason might force MSU158 to pick PSU to win it this year ....and.....then....the world ends
most likely one of the current 174's on the roster i'd say either Anthony Anderson or Zach Smith, also could have Wesley Moore at 184 as well who is listed as a 197 but has been down at 184 before. I don't know if Benick could make 184 but if he somehow did then i guess Moore would go for them at 197. they're still building so i think Zahid goes 174 IF all parties involved believe that is his best spot to win a national titleWho goes 184 for them if the Valencias drop? If Benick, then who goes 197?
