You think Joseph is undersized at 165? That was the common perception with Mac at 197, but I don't get that same idea about Joseph (caveat - small sample size).

I do. I think he's the 2nd best 157 pound wrestler in the nation. I understand he missed weight twice last year, so I'm probably wrong, and I know he's really strong, but I just look at him and don't see 165.

And for the third time I didn't say 133 was a problem. I said that it doesn't AT THIS TIME look quite as good as what we thought. Our expectations might have been a little high.
Who's expectations???

From the before the season I said our question marks were 133, 141 and 197. Thats it. I feel much better about 197 now that Cutch is there. 133 still has time. 141 is what it is.

I'd prefer wrestling a guy up a weight...undersized..than having him suck down and wrestling with no energy and gassing out. Even if he's undersized at 165, I think it's the perfect weight for him.

Not like he has much of a choice. It all works out. He has plenty of time to keep filling out.

I feel exactly the same way. I feel a lot better about Rasheed or Geno wrestling for us. I would say that it would benefit us to probably start Rasheed due to his bonus point capability.

Things you hear on the HR: DT and ER are once a generation wrestlers.
Puma generations are two to three years long, says Wikipedia. Nittany Lions are Pumas. So, a DT every two or three years for us sounds about right.

You wrote "133 isn't looking too hot right now, either". That statement is what I responded to.

Cutch tied 1-1 with a minute to go. Both on their feet and Cutch has 0:07 RT-adv.

Cutch with a TD with 3 seconds left for the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3-1.

Apparently, Cutch also took him to his back - final score 7-1 with NF points!!!!

cant say that rasheed doesnt have energy. a lack of scoring, but not short on action in OT
He only has a lack on scoring on Geno cause he knows him so well....Kade Moss should be our 141 pounder...Jimmy has plenty of time like 3 years to turn it around and his attitude is not good for our team..Pity me for the last 3 years...Rashhe has scored big points against some big times wrestlers and should be the 174 pounder...He will score A LOT more bonus points against decent guys who Geno may beat 2 to 1 or 1 to 0...GET KADE MOSS IN AT 141 TO GET HIM PREPARED WITH LOTS OF MATCHES UNDER HIS BELT AND RASHEED TO SCORE BIG POINTS...HECK HE JUST PINNED GENO IN OT...

N-squared up 4-1 after 1st. Was on top for 2nd. Rode him for over a minute, now 4-2 and NN has 1:19 RT-adv.

That's how 2nd ends.

Something going on at 1:30 mark of 3rd, but not sure what yet....

Apparently it was an escape - NN leading 5-2.....and now gets a TD 7-2. Gives up escape 7-3 but has 1:37 RT-adv and point. Final 8-3 I believe.

Yes, pinned him in TB2.
RASHEED MUST BE PUT IN OUR LINE UP...SCORES BIG POINTS AND THE ONLY REASON GENO AND HIM ARE CLOSE IS THEY KNOW EACH OTHER SO WELL...EVEN CAEL SAID IN FIRST ELIMINATION GENO DIDN'T DO MUCH...GOTTA GET KAD MOSS IN AT 141...JIMMY HAS HAD 3 YEARS TO PROVE HIMSELF AND CAN'T GET IT DONE...HE IS INTO PITY ME AND I AM AFRAID IT MAY EFFECT OTHERS

He didnt pin him. Otherwise continue on.

Most of HR is filled with delusional posters desperately hoping that if they say this kind of nonsense enough it will become true. The fact is that Iowa has become boring. Their guys don't score. They aren't fun to watch. The Brands bros have become the Bland bros and they know it.
The Brands bros have never been bland. They are always entertaining! Iowa is going nowhere and the BWI posters that i know and respect understand that.

Moss needs to start at 141. He may not place any higher than Jimmy, but Moss will score way more bonus points and win the matches he should. I think the more matches Moss gets, the stronger he will get. Unfortunately, you don't know what you are going to get from Jimmy. He has regressed the last 2 years and does not seem interested.

Complete myth

Retherford, Nickal, Nolf certainly not going to need any pity. Nevills or McCutcheon could have pitied their injuries or getting beaten out by Go, but haven't. Suriano, Cenzo, and Cortez are young guys wrestling ahead of schedule, but are learning every day. Morelli and Shakur are neck and neck again, but Shakur isn't sucking fumes this time and both have had promising starts to the year. Only Jimmy has stumbled and while it might be mental, I'm confident it isn't going to rub off on the team.

In my mind, Jimmy needs to loose the mullet. Whether its a throwback look, superstition, or for give him a gritty image, it may be more of a mental crutch. Stop questioning yourself Jimmy...just light it on fire and let it all hang out.
