Michigan match thread - Fri, Jan 19

Griffith has never looked as good since saving Stanford's program, but still, he shouldn't have been that close vs Barraclough. Barraclough was the better wrestler for 90% of the match, unfortunately for him that reverse was the entire match. Barraclough looked really good at the trials as well.

Truax vs Bullock

Truax low single. Gets behind. Can’t finish. That’s too bad.
Truax shot. Bullock reshot. Nothing
Another Truax low shot but nothing.
And again
0-0 after one.

Truax on bottom
Caution Truax
Out in 7 secs.
Bullock double. OOB. Can’t challenge. Was close.
Truax low single. Shelved. TD! 4-0. Video review? Why? No Michigan bricks left. No TD. Crap. Still 1-0. Was OOB
More Truax low single shots
1-0 Truax after two

Bullock on bottom
Out immediately. 3 secs. 1-1
Another Truax shot
A min to go
Truax shot. Gets TD and stall call. 4-0 Truax
4-0 Truax wins

Shane Griffith getting pointers from Lewan at practice. Beat a backup who bumped up a weight 2-1. He basically wrestled 5 seconds getting that reversal and played stall defense.

I remember Bullock gave AB all he wanted as a bump up 174 in 2021. Dude is an athlete, not shocked he beat out Rogers for 184.
