I didn't think Kemerer would beat Hall. Of course I would favor Steveson but Cassioppi's body of work so far shows that he has a chance.
Agree. At least the heavies redeemed it somewhat. That was exciting to watch...sadly I missed the first part of it trying to wipe the sleepies from my eyes.
165 and 174 were ok too but I thought Marinelli was on his way to an easy tech but kind of put it on cruise control for the second half of his match.

I agree that Steveson and Parris look to be the top tier of the weight class (though Steveson appeared to tire in the couple times I've seen him this season). But I don't agree that there is no chance that Cassiopi becomes an NCAA finalist. Upsets happen, injuries happen, etc. I would be surprised if he made it to the finals, but not shocked.
I once saw Spencer hanging out with Ryan Anderson talking shop. It has been rumored that ever since, Spencer downs a Mountain Dew 2 minutes before each match. Scientific studies have shown the Dew has a half life of 3 minutes in the blood stream. Someone needs to tell Brandon, Verk & Bo before Big 10s.

Everyone has a chance. It's sports. My comment was perhaps a touch hyperbolic but the point remains. That is that there is separation with Steveson and Parris and the field. Cassioppi has a "chance" but it's very small.
Parris has a very good chance to beat GS. He is strong,fast, and he just might wear GS down.
