Congrats to Mega from an Iowa guy. Definitely deserved to win that match with the early takedown off of the scramble. The incessant crying for stalling is ridiculous and embarrassing.
I know. According to the HR Iowa guys are all offense and everyone else stalls. The reality is that Iowa guys are slow and methodical grinders. The most delusional fan base in wrestling is Iowa. Unreal history but if any fan base is living in the past it's them.

Meredith won me over this tournament. Never quits and wrestles very unorthodox. A lot of fun to watch!
Just pause the TV for a bit before the start of a period, when they are getting set.
Then start the TV going when you hear Byers call the start.
You will be very close. Nudge it a bit as needed.

Think that is Jim Gibbons, not Tim Johnson, but it's the first time the entire Tournament in 3 days of broadcasting that I have a broadcaster demand a stalling call with that much time in the 3rd Period remaining - especially absurd given that Nico had recorded the only 2 TDs of the match through the first two periods and 5 minutes of wrestling??? Yes, the announcing was very one-sided. The way Stalling was called @33 was also absurd - 3 Stalls on Garret who absolutely DOMINATED zero-offense Clark??? Huh??? How about the 5 count on Mega for locking onto high crotch position but no call for the same thing, not even a count initiated, despite Clark doing it REPEATEDLY for long periods of time to cut Garret's RT-Adv below a minute when he started the 3rd Period on top??? If Garret deserved 3 Stall Calls in that match, Sorenson should be DQ'ed for Stalling in the 1st Period against Zain, but I doubt he'll even get called for one, LMFAO at this inconsistent, always favor the "traditional b1g shiz" wrestler bull$hit! So far, they're have been 5 Stall Calls and 3 points awarded to wrestlers through 2 matches and 100% of the Calls and points have gone to "traditional b1g shiz-hole" wrestlers who were completely dominated in their matches and never close to winning on their own merit....and the Stall Calls made the matches absurdly more close than they really were.
