I'm surprised. I think he is NFL ready but they must have found more NIL $ and a big insurance policy.
In the NFL running back is one of the lower paid positions. I believe only tight ends and safeties are lower.
Can't wait for Lando to chime in to tell us what a huge mistake he is making.

Hopefully we can keep everyone in the RB room content while the 'main eventers' return for an encore performance.
That is absolutely wonderful news, but we’re obviously going to lose some of the young guys. I know it’s easy for us to speculate for this to happen and in reality it rarely does, but is it possible to move someone like a Martin from rb to slot?
If you factor in one OL leaving and the emergence of Rucci (who had a great game vs ND) this sis pretty exciting. We should have the best offense in college football. If I was a top flight WR, I'd be looking to move to PSU
Nick seemed especially devastated after the loss. It was hard to get a read on him. I saw in one article that he left the locker room upset and Franklin told him to go back in. People may think NIL/transfer portal, etc. has made the game a bunch of mercenaries who only care about money. Not this team - you could tell they really liked playing with one another. Glad to see he'll be back.

Why wouldn't he? He could be the starter from RS SO year on if he is good enough.
Obviously losing Carter is a major blow but Vanover looked pretty good in that spot, at least effective. Much of team looks intact. Wheatley is a stud now so secondary should remain strong. Our schedule is a joke. Ducks lose everyone and come to Beav. We play at Iowa and at OSU. We should be right back in top 4 of CFP next year.
We've got a long way to go to be thinking Natty. We need Shelton, Sutton, Vanover, and King to return then add a WR, LB, CB, and S.
