Official PSU - Purdue Game Thread

Did Orlovsky just say it was on the officials to make sure a team is lined up properly?

Popping in to see if there is any consensus here yet on who should be fired at haltime. Rahne?

I really didn't expect Clifford to struggle this much, early on against Purdue

The thing I don’t like about letting those plays run is by letting it run you are automatically calling it a catch. They would have normally blown that dead right away. That one is easy to review but a fumble in a crowd of people isn’t. They should be able to make the call that they think the pass was incomplete but let the play run for review.

I know I’m going to be ridiculed for this, but I’d like a little bit of a challenge.. We could put up 100 on Purdue if we want.

This color guys stinks. How long after a QB throws the ball should a defensive player be allowed to hit him? That was a brain-dead play by the Purdue kid. Not the most vicious hit but way late and completely unnecessary.

Yeah it was stupid but he barely touched him too

Is anybody else concerned we seem to be struggling running the ball against Purdue? Passing game is great but it seems like we are depending on it during obvious running downs. Sure maybe a smart play but we should be able to run the ball even when they know it is coming.

I don't think Slade's style fits that delayed RPO stuff. Let him hit the hole or maybe something on the edge.

Awesome wideout blocking again on the Friermuth TD (and a really nice play by Friermuth too). Dotson does everything so well.
