I don't believe he's a problem
I believe the scheme and players around him are the problem
Allar is better than Beau. If we can go get Fifita then do it otherwise he's our best QB by far.

Allar is an issue. Just does not play fluidly. Seems stiff and awkward. Big arm and that is about it.
They have an offense problem. EVERYTHING about the offense sucks.
They had the WR’s but we stuck with shitty Clifford for so long.

It should not take until he is behind by 21 points with less than 5 minutes to play for him to play like he is playing for his job. How many 2nd and 3rd team old miss players in the game? That one series will look good for his tape portfolio, right?

same thing happened vs OSU. basically zero all game until the last few minutes when he turned up the intensity
Allar is better than Beau but Allar has a long way to go to be a solid QB. Coach K better be given free reign to retool this offense and give it a consistent identity. There needs to be more diverse run game and short/quick passing game.

He's not the problem. People here, like you, just like the backup QB. Hopefully we hit the portal hard and get him real weapons.
The one legit criticism of him is the batted balls.

He's stiff, mechanical, and slow to release. Makes it easier for DL to slap down.

For example, the pick was because it was a two man route and both were covered. He didn't want to go deep, couldn't go to the TE because coverage was good and no one came out of the backfield. That's scheme.
Those 3 losses seem to hurt much more than our 10 wins feel good. Hold all the guys together and give it hell again next year. Happy New Years!

Gotta get rid of read option too. He’s no threat to pull ball and run just hand it off quickly and run pro style offense. The arm in nfl quality just needs to get the system
that's because the 10 wins were almost automatic. if we lost any of those it would have been a massive disaster.
I like Franklin overall but the school messed up badly by giving him such massive contract. he has little incentive to do better than this, and all we can do is hire and fire assistants
Anyone would have struggled today. Put the QB on the other team and the results are the same.
He is Hackenberg all over again. Please Franklin stop recruiting these pro style QBs. Our best teams over the past 20 years have dual treat talent. Robinson, Clark, McSorley, whereas Hackenberg, Clifford, Allar just don't get it done. They are stiff with one skill. A strong arm. But they do not have any moxie!
He needs to improve significantly. It is not all the WRs that is the problem. I would have expected him to be further along this far into the program. He is not good at making decisions, holds the ball too long. Does not have fluidity. Dart was much better, and again, not all the WRs or lack thereof.
