Poor effort by Fundy. I don't understand how an undefeated wrestler takes feet while down 4-0 and immediately starts backing up to the edge. And he had his head down on the restarts. Mulligan broke him -- but it's not like he did anything spectacular.

An old buddy of mine I went to school with has a son in the finals at 285. Hopefully Toby get another one for District 5..
And it was pretty emotional for the CR folks. Their first and only state champion (before today), Gary Pfhaler, passed away at a young age just a couple of weeks ago. That program, from my vantage point, is a pretty close-knit family. I'm happy for them.

Unfortunately, yes. Edmond Ruth has already been proclaimed as a 4-time NCAA champ by a guy who has been "involved" with the PSU wrestling program for over 25 years.

Glad to watch Jaret Lane win a state title. Brought back some memories, as I saw his father win a state title in 1982 for North Schuylkill against a defending state champ.
