A few things to like in that series. Warren pass to Singleton got him space for the kind of run that uses his straight line speed. Warren used as a backfield lead blocker on the TD draws attention to him as a runner but also enables Singleton to choose a different gap. That sort of thing is why I liked last year's T-formation so much. Was easy to run wide with blockers near the goal line, so the defense had to cover the width of the field against the run.
Yes very true but those same numbers apply to every team that's vying for the postseason and possible conference championships...our problems are not solely Penn state's.
That's true. However, I would have to think that playing in these colder temps over more weeks than those teams down south would take a bigger tole on the body especially with injuries.
If this game goes as expected, this board will have set a Guinness World Record for most amount of crying and b!tching during games about an 11-1 team in the history of NCAA football.

No holding there on edge where runner went???? MD player literally tackled a PSU gunner on right side.
7 did nothing there on the sideline. The only player that did anything was the MD player. b2g refs are such clowns when it comes to PSU.
I would rather see the T-formation that we ran last year with Warren in the backfield in short yardage. That push play works fine against a team like Maryland but not so much against a team with a blue chip defensive line.
My concern is that Franklin takes today's push-play success and then thinks it will work against anybody.
It's like a game of tug-of-war. The strength of the team matters.
Drew Allar left the last drive after his crazy play to Tyler Warren but he appeared to be wanting to come back in a few plays later. Don't think anything to be concerned about there.
