Allen is so slow in getting to the hole/LOS.... and he always go down on first contact. The numbers today demonstrate this - Singleton only has 9 Carries and 41 yards, not incredible, but not gawd-awful either. Allen has 13 Carries for 34 yards - just awful.

Singleton now with 13 Carries for 87 yards (6.7 ypc), 2 TDs - Allen with 13 Carries for 34 yards (2.6 ypc), 0 TDs. Allen's slowness to the point-of-attack (especially on runs outside the tackle) is glaring when you look at how the same MD defense is struggling against Singleton.

Yeah, exactly ... that's why we're 27th in the nation in Rushing Yards (despite playing 1 less game than a lot of teams) and 18th in the nation in Yards/Rushing Attempt (ahead of OSU and virtually every other top ranked team).

We're just so terrible.
