It was 2 imho because there's no reaction time in that situation - so I'm not sure Amine had full control of him while he finished circling, but don't think it matters on the 3-points of contact rule.

AB starts bottom. Escapes 5-1. AB takedown 7-1. Cuts him 7-2. Stall warning on Finesilver. Ab adds another 9-2. Rides him out.

Finesilver down. Quick escape 9-3. Ab almost had a cradle settles for 2. 11-3. Cuts him 11-4. AB in deep then stalemate. AB looking great another td 13-4. Rides out 14-4 win

Oh the call is absolutely right. The officials did their jobs. It’s just silly that a situation like that where no one would call it “control” is an auto TD.

That's what happens now if a replay has a call reversed. The clock is set back to the time of the points scored, so anything that happened after that is now gone. It's unfortunate, but that's how it works.
Michigan may have Finesilver, but our Brooks pans out pure gold.

I don't like the rule. In basketball they call a 3 pt shot but wait til a pause in play to check if the shooter's foot was on the line. If it was they take away a point but they don't go back and reverse everything from the time he took the shot.

Kerkvliet loves to put himself in stupid positions that he has no business being in.
Meh. Kerk looked tired. No big deal.
Greg got a bit sloppy and it cost him. Hopefully he can maintain concentration for 7 minutes.
Spencer could take up smoking a pack a day and not get gassed at this rate.
Cronin didn't do himself any favors trying to roll through.

Parris obviously very good, but Kerk looked a bit off and then ran out gas in the last minute or so.
Big difference from last season is that Kerk couldn't finish cleanly his leg attacks. Parris knew what was coming and was prepared.

Parris is also reportedly healthier and he seems to look bigger as well. Not as cut as previous years but a bit more hefty.
Yeah, not a great way to end the dual....but the Facundo and Haines wins make up for it and then some
The heavyweight match was a bit of a bummer, but nothing to worry about and Kerk will rectify that at the conference tournament. Hard not to be truly thrilled with the rest of the dual though (125 is what it is for PSU this year).
Kerk didn’t look great. He will get him at big 10’s and then at NCAA’s. Lazy shot to an easy go behind. Parris didn’t do much either
