Have to. Their RB is good also. This ain't a MAC patsy but we need to be a lot, lot better on run defense.
Good Lord - horrendous punt (29 yards), blown coverage.... you just can't make it that easy for your opponent after scoring on your 1st drive and moving the ball to midfield on your 2nd drive.... Their own worst enemy there.

Allar is a real bright spot so far.
Guys, I think this Drew Allar kid may be something.
You have to wonder if Shelton doesn't end up replacing Wallace. Wallace just has too many whiffs.
He certainly throws well on the run. Very accurate so far.
Drew Allar is 9-for-10 so far tonight for 165 yards and one touchdown. KeAndre Lambert-Smith with three receptions for 111 yards and a TD.
Allar not just a pocket passer. Phenomenal throwing on the run.
PSU is outgaining WVU 202 yards to 101 yards - the horrendous punt and blown coverage were just killers.... you can't compound mistakes like that - it's just giving your opponent a freebie.
And DeLuka, who is getting run over consistently.
At this rate we may see Rojas first off the bench at either OLB position in a couple games.

Wallace has had plenty of chances. Just has too many moments of being lost on the field.

We are in trouble if Wallace was our best tackle coming out of camp. And why would the coaches play him if Shelton was better.
