For the sake of discussion Nova Lion, Mark Hall beat Jason Nolf twice earlier this year to make the World Junior team. Although that was a different style wrestling, think about how phenomenal Jason Nolf is, and then tell me again that Mark Hall would not be at least top 4 at NCAAs this year.

You could be right, but Folk is a whole different ballgame and the only way to tell is to see how he does in some of these tournaments. Would love to see him enter the Scuffle.

I think some of you guys are being too hard on NittanyChris. Penn State is not the clear favorite like last year; they are co favorites with 3 other teams that are fully capable of winning the championship. I get that everyone is excited to see all the young talent on the mat and winning big, but it was Army. If we shut out Stanford then yea, the rest of the wrestling world is in serious trouble, but if the dual goes by current rankings and they lose 4 matches then all of a sudden the thought of pulling Hall's redshirt may not be so crazy.

…….and for the record I am not predicting 4 losses. I think Nevills wins for sure and one of the other 3 pulls out a win.

I definitely think we have the best chance to win the title amongst the top 4 teams. We are the favorite.

I'm just saying that our chances to win it all go up considerably with an active Mark Hall. That's all.
