Friends! I'm making my first trip to Rec Hall in over 20 years tonight. Super psyched!

I'm leaving Rockville at noon, and riding up from Chambersburg at 2p with Bman & Biglerville. Bman's really into Faccia Luna, so I'm sure we'll go there first for dinner. But then I want to go to the Nittany Lion Inn, which I shockingly have never been to (I know!)

So, I need a roll call and some intel please. What's the PSUWr scene at Nittany Lion Inn? When does it open, is there a reserved spot, what time do people jet from there to get to their seats? Good lordy, I'm an ignorant, needy bastard!

Oh, to add to my list of what I believe the kids these days call issues: I've gone paleo these past two weeks. Not in food--those poor cavemen didn't have beer and this simply shall not stand. But I threw away my old cracked phone and haven't ported the ph# over to my new one yet, so I'm tethered to wifi only for comm. Does Rec Hall have wifi? What is your experience with its performance? Anyway, so I've got no text channel--only email at jtothemfp at gmail.

Who can I look forward to seeing tonight? And where?

Thanks friendos! Love you all! Hearts & kisses!

If you're tethered to wifi at PSU, then you should be tethered to someone with a better connection.

Can't say about Rec, but wifi at the BJC is useless. That's at the career fair, which is kinda important to employers and students. Can't imagine Rec is any better.

Have fun -- jealous!

We will be getting to the NLI about 6pm, what with work and such doesn't leave much time. We head over to Rec Hall about 1/2 an hour prior to the first match. See ya there!!

Not sure when we're getting into town. Leaving here at 3, lots of traffic questions between MD and SC. Likely to go straight to Rec Hall unless everyone gets off my road on the way up.

Wife, Dawson and I settling in to The Allen Street Grill, looking over the folks moving through their Friday afternoon. And the food is starting to arrive..........see you all at the match.

Now that I'm off the plane and back home: surprised this hasn't become a play by play thread.

Ditto and hlstone got there too. dwyoder was intimidated by the crowd but showed up later at the Liberty Craft House for a few brews after the dual so it was all good. Kingston and Mrs. Kingston along with Mrs. Roar got there too. Fun dual and a fun night. jto and his crew got to Rec Hall for the first time in recent memory and took a similar route to get there as mine thru Cowans Gap State Park.

That wasn't a crowd. When I walked up to the door, with three people in tow, it was an impenetrable wall of people. Needed a couple of O-linemen to open lanes for me.
