Six (6) Ka-Booms for Zain. Cael **Pleased**.
There couldn't have been more HORRIBLE management of the broadcast. I missed the entire match because they couldn't get their sh!t together. What a bunch of BS!
Bummer. Must have been frustrating. In the grand scheme, it wasn't much of a contest. The only interesting match was ZPain vs. Tshirt. I'm not sure if Zain is that good, Tshirt's just a shell of his former self, or some combo, but not even that match was all that captivating.
Check the links provided above for the NU stream of the BTNstudentU broadcast. Perhaps you can watch it after the fact.
Yep, I noticed there's an on-demand tab. The match will probably be made available on there eventually. FWIW, the live NU video stream worked fine for me. I was even able to sync with Byers audio.
Thanks Tom. I actually got on the NU student broadcast in the middle of Phipps' match. What's frustrating is I had everything teed up to watch the match on BTN2Go for 2:00. Then they posted that it would be shown at 3:00, so I did some work around the house and came back to logon at 3:00. By the time I figured out there was an issue on BTN2Go, then saw the NU link on the Wrestling Room, coupled with the match actually kicking off at 2:00 instead of what BTN had posted...well, the match was pretty much over. The match I really wanted to see was ZPain and T-Shirt, the rest seemed pretty much like a walk-over on paper. On the bright side, if there was a dual to miss, this was probably the one. I did read through your PBP. Great job as always!Bummer. Must have been frustrating. In the grand scheme, it wasn't much of a contest. The only interesting match was ZPain vs. Tshirt. Thanks TJ. I'l check it out.To be clear - you can definitely watch the entire match on replay at the NW link.
The feed had lots of breaks while trying to watch it live. Just watched the entire match on replay and it worked well all the way through.

He was really battling for those first 2 minutes but even then Zain, who looked smaller, was bullying him. The last 2 periods, especially the 3rd, were shocking. It's clearly a combination of factors IMO. Obviously Rutherford is really tough, but TShirt was not close to his normal self out there. I honestly don't think the injury was a big factor, but his conditioning was suspect and most of all, he just didn't have much fight. It looked to me like TShirt more or less gave up with after the first 2 minutes of the match. I mean, those last few TDs by Rutherford were just way too easy, and TShirt showed very little effort on bottom. He just wanted to get off the mat. Maybe chalk it up to TShirt's off-mat difficulties and/or the problems in the NW program right now, but that was not the TShirt we're used to seeing.
And, as others have stated, almost the entire NW lineup didn't show much fight. PSU had them completely outclassed from the start, but it was also a weak effort from NW pretty much across the board.
