With those allocations, everyone should be able to qualify at BIGs. Moss and 157 TBD are the only ones I see on the bubble.

Frey can do it, the rest at 157 not so sure

Agreed. Frey has looked tough in his matches. He's a great scrambler, which can be tough for opposing wrestlers to figure out, and he's shown that he's got a pretty good offense. Could he repeat James English's feat from last year?

My post was intended for the comment concerning the other 57's not where it was in the thread. I think any of our 57's could make some noise if the chips fell right.

Don't disagree -- Dylan looked like he could make some noise at 57 directly after the scuffle and seemed to be making steady progress, but the match where he dislocated his shoulder seemed to really change things....his first match back was simply disasterous though.

We will have two guys wrestling that did NOT earn an AQ for the B1G:

Moss and 157 (Frey/Alton)

Barring a ton of upsets everyone else should be good to go for NCAAs no matter what. I guess Hammond could be at risk, but there are 6 at large out there (I'm removing Dieringer and Moreno from the equation even though they are technically at large) - it would take a miracle for him not too make it.

Moss and 157 - both need to finish 8th or higher.

If they don't:

141 - there are 7 at large and the 3 B12 guys who would have earned them all look to be in front of him (Heil, Morales, Rodriguez) leaving 4 at larges. There are probably a few more guys that will be in front of him - boy those last two losses to Heil and Zeisloft really sting. And that is without any upsets in the conference qualifiers. I don't think there is any way he possibly gets an at large. He needs to finish top 8.

157 - There seems to be some more wiggle room here - if Dylan wrestles. I would think that he would be fairly high in the Coaches poll and his winning pct is high. Also will probably have a lot of wins over NCAA qualifiers. Without a lot of upsets in the qualifiers, maybe he gets a wildcard. Frey needs to finish top 8.
