Luke has Peterson on the edge, but then Peterson circles back to center. Peterson reaches for a leg, but no luck. Luke counters, but no luck & they're back to circling in the center. Stoppage for fingers, restart. Straight to a tie up & hand fighting. More circling as the period ends. 0-0

Peterson takes down. He turns quickly & gets the escape in 2-sec, 1-0. Peterson shoots, but no luck. Back to tying up in the center. Luke shoots, but Peterson blocks him off. Luke with a half shot, but no luck. More tying up & pushing, 30-sec left. Luke with another half shot & Peterson blocks him off. More circling & tying up as the period ends. 1-0 Peterson

Period 3:
Luke takes down. He turns, then sits out, gets to his feet & gets the escape, 1-1. Luke is pushing forward now. He shoots, but Peterson circles away. Tying up & hand fighting in the center. Luke reaches for a leg, but Peterson has his other hand tied up & blocks it off. Luke reaches for another ankle, but no luck. Luke shoots again, but nothing. He drives forward & pushes Peterson to the edge, but Peterson circles back in. Stoppage & restart. Peterson shoots off a restart & gets to the leg & then finishes off the TD, 4-1. That sucks. Restart for something. Luke is still down. He gets to his feet, but Peterson hangs on to the leg & time expires. Luke had difficulty getting through Peterson defense. Luke never got in deep on any of his shots. s

He snaps & drops to a leg. Poznanski is doing the splits & time expires. 0-0 Barr needed another few seconds to finish that attempt.

Period 2:
Poznanski takes down. He works to a quadpod, but Barr brings him back down. Barr riding tough with lots of pressure from top. Barr takes Poznanski out of bounds, restart. Poznanski is still down & Barr has 51-sec RT. Poznanski gets to his feet, but Barr breaks him back down & goes over 1-min of riding time. Poznanski works back to a quadpod, but not for long & Poznanski is bellied out on the mat now. Poznanski works up & rolls, but Barr stays with him & Poznanski is bellied out again. Stall warning on Barr, restart. Poznanski is still down & Barr has 1:46 RT, 13-sec left. Barr rides out the period. 0-0 Barr +2:00 RT

Barr takes neutral. Circling, Barr shoots, gets to a leg & finishes the TD, 4-0. Out of bounds & restart. Poznanski is still down. Barr goes neutral start. Poznanski escape, 4-1. Barr quickly in on a double for another TD, 7-1. Barr cuts Poznanski, 7-2. Barr quickly in on another TD, 10-2, escape, 10-3. Barr with another TD, escape & another TD & escape & it's 16-4. Barr with another TD, 19-5 & the final TD for the 22-5 TECH. Wow! That was like watching Mesenbrink. The action was too fast to keep up with. Barr has become an offensive juggernaut!!! There's another psycho on the team who's constantly attacking!

If you can see the look on Poz face after that match as he headed toward tunnel..as other have said, Barr absolutely broke him.

Peterson smiling ear to ear the whole match. At least one RU guy went home happy. Only RU guy that impressed me tonight was Turley. I would have bet anything on bonus points there.

Great crowd, RU fans electric after Peterson win, got quiet after Shawver and rest of night.

Rutgers came to wrestle. They clearly want to prove they can compete with the best. Ours guys showed some guts and fought through some tough positions. Good calibration meet.
