I hear ya. Kid is so lightning quick though that he is the future no doubt. Tremendous skills. Beard greyshirt now making too much sense. Good thing our coaches don't have a plan.

Rasheed as well. Saw your comment earlier and I couldn't agree more. Would love to see him hold down the spot for a couple of years, but not sure that is going to happen. If Cassar cleans a couple things up and locks things down, I'm going to be pulling for Shakur to graduate and transfer as well. He deserves to get on the stand at some point. Needs to clean up a few things and needs to be on the mat.

Either way, we're good.

Cutch has been a warrior for us and a great representative for PSU. Hope I'm wrong but everything I saw today reminds me of many wrestlers who kind of lose their edge in their SR years when they kind of realize that the goal is not going to happen. Nothing wrong with it, it just happens.

I expect he'll go out in a dual for us - hopefully, if he is not injured - and we will be able to send him off to chiropractor school with the warm thanks he deserves after a hard fought win.

Man, the above sounds a little maudlin, but really what I think. Again, hope I'm reading this wrong.

Nevills - Love (I think), UVA

scoreless thru 1st

Nevills with an esc in the 2nd to go up 1-0. End

Love takes neutral. Love shoots in on a single, Nevills scrambles, then OOB. Nevills gets behind for the TD, 3-0. Nevills tries to get a tilt, nothing, then Love is flattened. Nevills keeps trying to get a tilt, doesn't happened, and it's over. 59 sec of RT, so no RT points.

Nevills with a surprisingly tough 3-0 win

I believe he's not been fully healthy since the fall of 2015. He was ripping through people at the beginning of the 2015-2016 season and looking really good. Then the back injury occurred and, to my eyes, he hasn't been the same since. One of those "what might have been" situations.

Flo cracks me up sometimes. One commentator said there haven't been any big upsets so far. Dude! Scott Parker lost to an unseeded wrestler. I think that qualifies as a big upset.

Schnupp loses 8-6 and is out. Bummer, I really like the kid as he is a gamer and a goer. But if you watch his first match of the day it tells the story of why it is really hard for him to win matches right now. Unfortunate timing that he has this opportunity a couple of years too early. If this had happened a couple of years from now, he's got the tank, is hard nosed and has some skills that he could have been a serviceable guy in the lineup who can get to the tournament.

In case anybody is wondering South Carolina just converted a 3rd and 17 and then a 67 yard catch and run TD to take a 4th quarter 23-19 lead. Harbaugh working on another almost moment.

SC got a FG, so it's 26-19 Gamecocks. 3:32 left, and Michigan has 4th & 10. Pass is way overthrown, so SC gets the ball back. Michigan only has 1 TO left. Smarter play would have been to punt the ball, as they were on their own 25.

A Harbaugh moment.
